So, what Paul/Beatle/Wings moments or concerts do wish you were at? For me... 1.) Any Liverpool Gig 2.) Glastonbury (front and center) 3.) 100 Club What about you?
McCartney receiving "Lifetime Achievement" Grammy award in 1990 and being introduced by Meryl Streep who clearly was thrilled to meet him.
-
any Beatles concert "Up Close" concert in NYC, 1992 one of his poetry readings from around 2001 or whenever those were Chaos & Creation at Abbey Road the 100 Club
-
I would have liked to be at Paul's house for the wedding reception of Nancy & Paul. Even Paul & Linda...heck...even the other one.
-
I feel pretty fortunate to have seen Paul McCartney when I have. If I could, I would love to have seen the Beatles. Other than that, I have no regrets!
-
Cavern in Liverpool Up Close and Personal Unplugged Jon Bon Jovi Hampton party when Bon Jovi, Springsteen, James Taylor, Jimmy Buffet and Billy Joel jammed together Apollo New York Wings Over America
-
Kampuchea concert - I'd really want all four nights but will 'settle' for just the last one with Wings! 100 Club Cavern Kings Dock or Echo Arena show Any show from 76/77 Performance at the White House
-
The front row of any Beatles concert circa 1963 The wedding reception of Patti & Eric where 3 Beatles (minus John) and Eric jammed and did Sgt. Pepper!
-
Holly Days:
Kampuchea concert - I'd really want all four nights but will 'settle' for just the last one with Wings!
Now that one I can say that I have been to.

In my opinion....I don't think there's nothing better than seeing Paul in Liverpool. The city has a buzz to it the days leading up to the show, the people there are AMAZING and of course, who can resist visitng the Beatle sites?

1. June 14th 1965 watching the Beatles record at Abbey Road Studio Two. The afternoon session had Paul McCartney record six takes of I?ve Just Seen A Face and seven takes of I?m Down. But the evening session had Paul record two takes of Yesterday. An incredible display of Paul's versatility. That would have been the perfect day to be at Abbey Road. 2. January 1964 Beatles concert in Paris. 3. Wings at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens May 9th 1976. I was only eleven, and I really wanted to go.
-
I'd like to go back to go back to January 1960, to Elgin in the north east of Scotland, to see the embryonic Beatles on their first tour. And I'd go and see my granny after the show! Wings at the Glasgow Apollo in Sept 75 to see wee Jimmy on home soil and the whole band in kilts. (I did get to see Wings at that venue in 79 which is still my best ever Paul concert experience.) On that beach in Kintyre when they filmed the video for Mull. And finally I'd like to sabotage Paul's car so he couldn't get to the Pride of Britain awards and meet Ms Mills...

I feel your pain! I was 11 in 1966 and wanted to go see The Beatles at Cleveland Stadium and Mom said "We'll go next year!"

but on the plus side you did get to see Wings and George. I was really hoping for a Harrison US/Canada tour after the success of Cloud 9

I couldn't agree more. I've been at two Liverpool shows (Anfield 2008, Academy O2 2010) and those two are my fave shows. I was very sad to have missed the Echo Arena show.
