The pyros for" Live and Let Die" were different than I've seen before, and not quite as impressive as usual. I guess after that earlier show where they got blamed for scorching the arena ceiling or whatever, they had to be careful. Guess Barclays didn't want them hurting their new arena. Still fun, though.
I was in the 4th row at Memphis and I thought I was going to be engulfed in the flames! The pyros were quite impressive from where I was sitting!

Other times there were fireworks shooting almost up to the ceiling (and apparently TO the ceiling at at least one show), from in front of and behind the stage; didn't have that this time. But, yes, I can imagine how it was sitting close to it!

Wasn't that in Canada...last year?

Thanks for jogging my memory; I've been trying to remember where. Yes, Vancouver.

Vancouver show was in BC Place which is a huge stadium but it does have this weird roof.

So Paul is half way through the current tour. How has his voice held up? There were concerns it wouldn't given such a schedule, but most reports seem to be positive.

Yep, so far so good but thought I read last night he was not in his best voice compared to other shows.

I guess off nights are to be expected. He has some time off, then the three European shows. Cool!

his voice was starting to suffer in brooklyn the second night, and on colbert he wasn't his best; sounded like he had a cold or allergies. i know MY allergies have been bad the last couple of days with all the rain we have had on the east coast and my voice will be different day to day because of it. I won't believe the surgery reports until he confirms it himself. I could do without Your Mother Should Know and All Together Now, but the latter seems to be a crowd pleaser singalong, so what do I know. I think the pacing of the show/set list has been designed to give him rest in between the high energy numbers. As for merch, I think $30 for a program is too high and for what, some 3D glasses and some 3D effects on various pages, so i passed on that. And the fabric quality of the t-shirts isn't great; very thin material.
