Is the song 'Celebration' still a regular part of the sound check set list as it has been the past few tours?
Yes, altho I don't think he's been doing it at every soundcheck, but at most of them.
Also, how many hours ahead of the show does Paul usually conduct sound check? My daughter and I may try to catch it from the outside before we attend the Boston/Fenway Park show...as it is, we're going in to Boston early to make a full 'Boston' day of it (may hit Fanuel Hall first, maybe the aquarium - if the main/large tank is open again, etc)
he's been starting at around 5:30 pm at the US on this tour. Don't know if that will change for the stadium shows, tho.
Thanks a lot - we'll be in the area regardless....if we miss it, or if my daughter doesn't want to wait for whatever reason, there's a number of good restaurants in the immediate area (although I'm sure she'll insist on Unos) and of course the Guitar Center is only right around the block from Fenway...So I'm sure we'll find a way to occupy our time
Uno's Pizza? Chicago pizza? My hubby's fav. I prefer Lou Malnit's. Do you have that too?
I actually haven't heard of Lou Malnit's - will have to google the name...is it relatively new? I lived in Ill for a short while back in the 80's and don't recall

They have a 1-800 lou-to-go phone number & jingle. : Now I will be singing it all evening. It is a great pizza though. I may need to get one on Sunday.

Btw, I don't know why, but I find this to be a pretty cool sound check song:
When I first saw the title of the song, I thought someone had just mis-titled Every Night...LOL ops: -

It's a song George Formby used to play (the famous uke player that George H was such a fan of).

He plays it during the show sometimes too, he played it in Dublin in 2009 and the crowd was singing along!

Is there a good-quality video of Paul performing "Sun Is Shining" at a sound check available anywhere?
The best I know of is this one from Yankee Stadium two years ago:
If there's a better audio recording of it somewhere, I'd love to know about it.There is a version from Florida soundcheck that is pretty good.
