Does anyone have a decent seating chart of this venue ? I can't find any info about floors rows
http://static.capitaltickets.ca/events/seating_charts/McCartney_800.gif
I'm hoping for a seat in the front row in a lower level/balcony (100s)-when I order tickets, how do I know it will be a front row seat? Do all front rows start with the letter A? or will it say row 1 in section 103 for example. thanks.
Every venue is different, but I think Scotiabank Place uses letters for their rows, so you would look for Row A. I don't think the fan presale has any seats left in any of the 100-sections, tho; there is a dropdown that will tell you what sections are left, and you can click on the section you want, or you can choose "best available" for a price range.
Hello: I believe I can help you with this. At least with regards to the FLOOR seating. After being confused by the VIP tickets that had the letter "C" in front of the section ie CA,CB,CC , I researched this venue. The info is confusing, I admit.... Apparently, Scotiabank Place organizes the first rows on the floor without an aisle, (so far, I've discovered this C prefaces VIP tickets for the first 3 rows). The C means "continuous." For these rows only, the seats are numbered 1-48, seat 48 next to section 108 - seat 1 next to section 114. After the last"continuous row" described above, the sections are organized A,B,C with aisles in between them. Usually seats are numbered 1-14 in each section from right to left when facing the stage. Odd, I know but the seating map diagrams the sections as C,B,A again when facing the stage. I hopefully am interpreting correctly the information I found in a very helpful post, which I've tried to replicate here! http://www.leonardcohenforum.com/viewtopic.php?t=32035 I've checked and the venue's seat map for Cohen is the same as Macca's. Best wishes and I really hope this helped... Tracey

Hi there, Ya, I'm really racking my brain now. The post where I got my info from stated only the first row was unbroken - continuous, at a Cohen concert. I thought however, that I saw a 2nd/3rd row ticket with the C preface. I was confident of that when I wrote this which probably means I was wrong ops: If anyone has a CA, CB, CC ticket beyond row 1 hopefully they'll respond. My tickets are B row 7 with no "C"!
-
me too. Section B row 7 I bought the Gold Hot Ticket.

I'm interested in the floor configuration at the Scotiabank Place, too. I was able to get tickets on the floor in section C, row 34, and I'm wondering how far back this is. Anyone know how many rows in total there are in the floor section (not counting the continuous section in the front)? I would have preferred a 100 section close to the stage but I feel lucky to have gotten these tickets at the venue pre-sale. (I had no luck at all at Paul's website pre-sale) . So, we'll be there!!!

that's a great question, I am wondering that too. I would like seats in the 100 section as well, but I could go for a floor ticket too, but I am on the short side and i worry if I will be able to see anything. The floor seats are not on an angle are they? (like the rest of the seats in the staduim)? thanks blackburnrose for the info, i am glad I am not the only one confused by the seating! lol

Does anyone think a 2nd date will be added to Ottawa? (The Sat would work for me so I have my fingers crossed.)
i hope so. First time ever he has come to Ottawa and it will sell out fast. I have to work tomorrow, otherwise I would be right there buying tickets first thing in the morning!! Paul has said in past interviews, that if a shows sells out quickly and there is a demand for it, if he can, he adds a 2nd show ...so hopefully a second show will be added.
-
In my experience, floor seats generally provide a very good view of everything on the large screens. If you're close enough to the front, you'll also have a great view of "the real thing" (Paul!) on stage. If you're toward the back of the floor section, you'll be relying more on the screens. But the stage should be high enough that you can actually see it, even from farther out.

thanks krurb

Oooh I hope so!!! It doesn't sound like Toronto has been mentioned and I am dying to have a chance to see him!
-
Should Toronto not be in the cards, I would think there's a great chance he'll play Mull of Kintyre in Ottawa - that in itself is worth the trip! I'm hoping for better tickets tomorrow....
-
anyone having luck getting in???
-
I'm not sure how long it takes for Capital to allow entry, but this is beyond frustrating.

VIrtual waiting rooms suck! Been there. Good luck getting in!
