I love this! Cracks me up. Members of Metallica are having to be quite patient while guitarist Kirk struggles to learn James' new riff:
in for this later

There's a new Beatallica album out... Abbey Load! They play the whole B-side of Abbey Road in metal style. And "Her Majesty" is redone in a "Metallica/Lou Reed poetry" style, which just about made me wet my pants the first time I heard it.

'Though it's not really a metal release, NIN's new album Hesitation Marks is fantastic, very much a grower but once your in there your hooked. NIN aren't a metal band as such but they are accepted by metal fans mainly due to the Broke EP and The Downward Spiral;, and other albums having very much a rock/metal presence within. Also, Korns new album The Paradigm Shift is very good to. Very slick production compered to previous albums but good none the less. First album with Guitarist Head since he left in early 2005.

Trent Reznor still tours a lot -- good to know that he's still capable of new product.

I used to be a big metal fan and I keep a track of the major metal and hard rock events, but Metallica is my #1 fave

Oh, dying to see them live. Last time was in 2009, my 4th time seeing them but that was the best one, one of my best gigs ever, just....wow! Really incredible.

Love NIN! I was seeing them back in like 1999, they were touring and had a freak show opening for them. Like guys hanging bricks off their nipples and crazy shit. And NIN was off the hook. May have been a downward spiral tour, and all that shit from Pretty Hate machine is awesome! Love Down In It.

my brother is seeing them next month in vegas i've only got to see them once along time ago during the fragile tour i remember a perfect circle had opened for them back then as i can remember, they did put on a good show.

MEGADETH - THE ONE SONG TOO HARD TO PLAY LIVE

Joey Jordisons new side band Scar The Martyr are pretty good: gave the album a couple of spins yesterday and seeing them live next month. Should be good!
