when i entered highschool in September 1990, one of the first textbooks that had to be bought was 'Physics for you' being a budding musician at age 10/11, i quickly began perusing the chapter on 'sound' and lo and behold, who was there waiting for me?? my idol, in this very photo below, but a black and white version - having been a Beatles & solo Beatles fan since birth, i had been aware of this photo being from the Wings 1976 concerts and i had since then wanted to one day own a 12-string guitar also (which would only materialize in 2005 after acquiring most of my other instruments between 1991 and 1996 already ) but having this photo of my idol in my schoolbag, in this official way, was just something out of this world during those years later on, in 1996 when i was in A'levels, there was a revised edition of the same Physics textbook that i saw being used by the younger students, so i was curious what became of Paul in this revised edition so i got my hands on a copy and was pleasantly surprised to see this 1990s shot as the replacement photo for the 1976 shot - (but a more smiley, direct-looking shot ) (interestingly enough, between 1994 and 1997, quite a few mornings i would awake to my alarm clock having the radio playing 'my brave face' which was a lovely way to start the day ) (not photo-related, but another thrill in another textbook in highschool was in one English grammar text in which " she's leaving home " by "John Lennon & Paul McCartney" was an actual included piece to be read and studied as a comprehension lesson! haha)
