I received our VIP tickets a couple weeks ago. And tonight I was lucky enough to purchase another seat for our daughter - in the seat next to us. Unbelievable! FYI for anybody interested, there ARE now Gold VIP seats available in Field D (center stage) Row 5. Or in Field E - Row 3 amongst others. I feel like I will have a once in a lifetime experience for the 4th year in a row. I do not take it for granted and am very grateful!

My sister in Denver just purchased two 11th row tickets for this show. There must still be tickets available, obviously. She is excited!

My understanding is that there is nothing available for general seating, but some VIP tickets have popped up here and there. Glad it worked out!

Well Minneapolis is up next. Looking forward to another fun evening! Question for anybody from Minneapolis - we are flying in that afternoon for the concert, and will stay near the airport since we are flying out the next morning. Is there a light rail line that runs from the Mall of America down to Target Field? Would it be best to take that or rent a car and drive downtown and back? Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

It look like you should be able to take the blue line from terminal 1. http://www.mspairport.com/GroundTransportation/light-rail-transit-service.aspx

Be alert for Nashville postmark. It is easily overlooked as junk mail.

The Blue Line actually starts at the Mall of America, so you should be able to take that into downtown. The ride is about 45 mins., since you'd be riding from the beginning to the end.

Don't forget to check out the Beatles exhibit while at the mall.

Got my ticket tonight when I got home from work! Thanks for the warning about it looking like junk mail: indeed, it did. It says "No video" on it; does that mean no cameras at the concert, anyone know? BTW, here's the link for Metro Transit, the local mass transit bus/train service. Specifically, the link to the Blue Line, which connects the Mall of America to downtown Minneapolis/Target Field: https://www.metrotransit.org/Route/901

I'm pulling Field E row 22 right now if anyone still needs tickets!

I think the "no video" rule is an MLB restriction. However, I expect it will be widely disregarded..

Can't wait for this concert! Still trying to figure out transportation to and from it without too many confusing bus routes and things. Anyone have any ideas?

I don't live in Minneapolis but perhaps the Twins can help you? http://minnesota.twins.mlb.com/min/ballpark/transportation/index.jsp?content=public_transit

Weather forecast is for low 80's and mostly sunshine. Perfect if they're right! Let's keep our fingers crossed!

There also is a photo exhibit at a downtown hotel (W/Foshay). http://www.myfoxtwincities.com/story/26109573/w-hotel-exhibit-showcases-beatle-mania-in-minneapolis

From what I recall visiting Target Field, the Hiawatha line I think it is, stops right at Right Field. I'm sure the maps will help you but it couldn't be easier to get downtown from out by the airport or Mall of America. Maybe some local can correct me if I'm wrong.

I am not a local but you're spot-on. We have a hotel by the Mall of America and will take light rail, which stops right at Target Field. Only problem is there is going to be a BIG LINE at the end of the show to use it to go back. I am going to the concert with two 7-year-olds, so we might leave right before the Abbey Road medley closes the show. Don't want to be waiting in line for over an hour just to get on the train. Maybe I'm overreacting, but the line was pretty long when we went to a Twins game a couple of years ago.

We will also be staying near the airport/Mall of America and taking the light rail down to Target Field. I figure there will be lines as well. That's ok - everybody will be happy and it will be a beautiful night. We will just enjoy it all.
