You won't need the link anymore. Oobu24 kindly posted the picture for me when I couldn't get it to work.
I saw that, thank you!

OK, I finally have a chance to post on here! Been a busy week! This is going to sound cliche, but Paul just keeps getting better and better. This was my third time seeing him and it was definitely the best (and the fact that the show was in my backyard was awesome)! When he got to "Maybe I'm Amazed," I said a little prayer for him as he started the piano part at the beginning b/c there are times in recent years when he's had some trouble with the song. I'm glad I said my little prayer b/c he just slayed that song! I was in awe! That was probably my favorite moment of the show. It was funny because my mom and I went with one of my friends who's never seen him before, so the "Live and Let Die" explosions scared the you-know-what out of him! I shook my head when I saw people leaving before the first and second encores. I tried telling them "he's not done yet!" I'm surprised no one has mentioned Nadia getting called on stage for a tattoo siggy? (Maybe someone did and I just missed it in the thread). I didn't see a separate thread on it either. Maybe she's not a boardie, so maybe that's why. I still thought it was cool b/c I've never been AT a show where someone got a tattoo siggy. The Orlando show I went to, Paul pulled a couple on stage for a marriage proposal, so that was cool too. Here is a photo of Nadia being signed by Paul : https://scontent-a-iad.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xap1/t31.0-8/10504827_10103281734334931_594481731589438478_o.jpg

Nadia had a very nice sign - very sparkly. She looked great holding it as she stood next to Paul. I hope her tatoo came out good!

I met her after the concert. She was understandably so excited. She let me take a few pictures. I also got a few decent pictures during the show: A young lady in front of me was lucky enough to get a set list after the concert: What a great show!

Cool pics! I love how they were all wearing pink NFL wristbands ... wonder if they got them from the Jags?

Not from the Jags. I believe they first wore those at the Dallas show, and have been wearing them at every show since.

Thanks for all the great pics!

Has anyone else here been to the Jacksonville Florida Show of OCt 25 2014 ? I took my son Paul, 34 years old ( yes I named him after Paul McCartney ) and we travel half a day to get to Jacksonville from Tampa for the show. Paul mesmerized the whole audience , they sat there hypnotized for much of the show. Of course hearing so many Beatle songs done by a real Living Beatle will be the closet thing ever I could get to actually seeing the original band < we all know the sadness on that end and I do not mean to say he was by himself The Beatles > I just mean it was as close today you can actually get due to the very sad events of two of the original Beatles who were a very important part of the band. Would have been a great thing since Ringo had played in Tampa earlier in the week for him to show up, but he must have had obligations else where. Back to the Show which is the point: Paul was spot on both vocally and musically. I really mean he was spot on. I have seen him 5 times in my life starting with Wings Over America in 1976 while I was still living in NY at the then Nassau Coliseum venue. Paul sang in Jacksonville as if he was still in his youth and for a 3 hour plus show for all he did I am overly impressed to say the least. I am loving his band more and more. Hats off to each of them from a fellow musician who understands the time and effort they put in to bring a WORLD CLASS SHOW to us all. God Bless Sir Paul and I still love the Beatles and Wings too !!! All who I spoke to while waiting on line for tee shirts and such were highly impressed by Paul and the Band. I saw even young adults who were blown away by the show and that says something! One young woman was crying, when I asked why she told me her Uncle loved Paul and had allot of his collectibles so she had heard his music all her life but seeing him live she was overwhelmed to tears. Paul still has the magic !! My Son was extremely impressed and he has been to many shows of his contemporaries and told me Paul had the best show he has ever seen live and he has seen almost all the groups and stars of his generation.

The Pink Wristbands are due to October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month. This has been going on for quite awhile in the States. Every October it brings the message to young and older woman to have their breast exams to help catch this horrible cancer early and to make everyone aware and to donate to your local breast cancer fund for a cure.

Not just women!

My mom is a breast cancer survivor. Unfortunately, my grandmother was not back in 1989. Glad to see Paul and the band supporting the worthy cause (for obvious reasons!)
-
Also glad that we made it to page 15 for our city!

15 is okay, but this board has clearly lost something over the years. Just looked in the archives and the DC show I attended in 2009 got up to 52 pages. And I'm pretty sure the DC show I attended last year got up to about 38 or 39 as well. Doesn't seem to be as much activity this year, which is strange considering it was a touring year, a pretty big year for Paul personally as well as a busy year for the Beatles too, with the 50th anniversary and all.
-
I agree. I remember the 2002 tour and the many pages we filled waiting for the Cleveland show. One of the gang went to far as to make nametags for all of us to wear as we waited for Paul outside of Gund Arena. They had our board names on them. I still have mine!
-
You know, I wonder if its just that people use social media to communicate these days. I like coming here though - all information is relevant to Paul!
-
Funny, I was just thinking that too! I think the rise of Facebook, twitter, and the like has perhaps led to the fall of traditional message boards as we know them, which are more a product of internet 1.0. But I still like this place too!
-
I did finally break down and get a twitter account so I can follow Paul and the band there.

Putting Jax back on top.

Still looking out for the city where I will hopefully get married! JAX back on page 1.
