Hey Sam, glad to hear that by Joe. "Blues Deluxe" it's the song I liked more. I'm not a blues listener but it sounded to me "like" Clapton or B.B. King, the great ones for me. And I don't mean "exactly like" but "as great as". I could be wrong in blues music but I liked it.

It's a long post but I think the occassion is worth. BTW, ain't Stade of France a football stadium??? Paul's coming back to big stadium concerts, it seems.
-
Hi Oliver. You're absolutely right. Joe is in the same League as Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B. King and Jimi Hendrix. And `Blues Deluxe' is my favorite also. He almost sets his guitar alight on some of his riffs. BTW nice to hear from you again. How's your compilation CD coming along? Cheers Sam.

Hi Sam Have been away so that vote was my first within 24 hrs. Nice letter about George -- agree that he's underrated, I own every one of his solo albums. Cheers! Mike
-
Sam By the way, has anything come of the garden for George in Liverpool idea? Again, I agree that George is underrated. Of the Beatles in my view only John and Ringo are given their proper due. John is considered by most music magazines to be the best song writer of all time -- I don't agree but heck at least he's recognized big time. I think Ringo gets great recognition considering that he wasn't really a song writer. Macca as I've pointed out a lot -- I won't bore everyone with another dissertation on it -- is given recognition as one of the best of all times but really isn't given equal status to John anymore outside of the Beatle insiders such as yourself. Thereby, I root equally hard for George and Macca to be recognized whenever I can. Cheers! Mike

Thanks Oliver, Is there any other news about tours? I wish i wasn't going on a cruise to the Carribean next Christmas, because then i could save my money for that Paris package. Oh well, I am sure there will be more tour dates. How is everyone doing this fine evening. Its another important Beatles day, for me anyways. Their second appearance on the Ed Sullivan show, and i am going to watch it on the DVD. I also got onto the radio and requested to hear the Beatles, so they played Daytripper. Very very nice. Although, my vioce sounded horrific, i called as soon as i woke up and turned on my radio... Sam, I read your letter to the Echo and i am glad they published it. George does deserve more respect than what i hear was paid to him. TTYL all.

As I said yesterday, I voted so that is at least one vote and I voted again this morning. I think there was something wrong with yesterday's voting, Sam. That was a lovely letter you wrote to the Echo about George. I also have all of his CDs.

Hi Mike & Libra. I agree with your feelings about George. Mike re the garden idea according to out Lord Mayor they are already in negotiations with someone, probably Olivia, to create a garden for George. I'll keep you posted though. Sam C, Christina, Starr, Jen, Maccascruff, Vinny and Sarah F. Thanks for all the votes. Let's win this time. Love, cheers and hugs. sam.

Good morning everyone. Hope you all had a great weekend. Sam, that was a great letter that you wrote on behalf of George. He truly deserves to be recognized for his great talent and numerous contributions to music. Did you hear about our Paul telling off the horrid tabloids? Good on him, I say! Love and hugs, ~Tashi
-
Hi Tashi Glad you liked my letter for George. And Paul was quite right to tell these tabloids off...they needed it. Love and hugs Sam
-
Hi Tashi, I didn't hear about Paul telling the tabloids off. What did he say to them? I did hera that he is ten songs into his new album on the radio though.

Hello there, I think this might be the story you are referring to. http://www.ananova.com/entertainment/story/sm_866547.html?menu= It is about them having a go at his wife, and he is (understandably) not very happy about it. Cheers! Sam C.
