Linda's Sausage & Veg Bake today
Does non-pork sausage taste close? If so, I would really like the recipe, so I could try it.
Hi there I use Linda's sausages and cook them with one courgette and one onion. Then add a large handful of frozen peas. Make some cheese sauce, then add an egg. Put sausage mix into casserole, then add cheese sauce, cover with grated cheese and cook for about 30-45 mins 200 degrees. Hope this makes sense oh yeah and I serve it with garlic bread!
Fantastic. Thanks!

I fixed gluten free mac 'n cheese with farmer's market tomatoes. I always sprinkle some dry mustard on mine for that extra little kick. Yum! I hope the McCartney family puts out gluten free vege meals, if they haven't done so already. The sausage has wheat protein as one of the ingredients, so I couldn't eat those.

With the terrible heat today, i didn't feel like cooking. Made a garden salad with fresh strawberries, blueberries, orange flavored cranberries, honey roasted almond slices, asiago croutons & orange poppy seed dressing.

My hubby would never eat that for dinner. Maybe just a large salad. He is so meat & potatoes.

No doubt that was delicious!!! Same here, too hot to cook! I made a garden salad and cantaloupe filled with fresh pineapple and strawberries.

Im cooking a veggie dinner too tonight not sure what to make something will come to mind when I get into the kitchen in a little bit. Veggies are more colorful than meat anyways

My favorite sandwich since I am always travelling these days: avocado and tomato on rye/wheat bread.

Yum! I fix something similar sometimes: Warm corn tortillas in a frying pan on both sides, melt cheese in microwave on top of tortilla, top with sliced avocados, tomatoes, salsa, and whatever other veges you like

Those both sound really good!

Next year hubby has to place a bird-proof net over our blueberry & raspberry bushes. The birds & chipmunks are enjoying them too much!

Our kid always brings carrots & apples for the horses when he rides. Today, this cute little filly was so eager to get a carrot, she knocked it out of my hand 3x!

Just found a cool tool that turns squash into spaghetti. I think it would be good for carrots as well... waiting till the store lowers the price a bit tho. Then going to make a Ratatouille first off! A nice summery spaghetti with sauce sounds yummy!

What does that taste like?
-
Mushroom and potato kubbeh with a light pomegranate and quince yogurt. Goes very well with hummus or wild rice.

Since my DH was diagnosed with high blood sugar, we're eating much healthier. Will be sorry to see local farm stands close for winter.

How do you like growing them? Thinking of putting a couple of blueberry bushes in a raised bed next year! Maybe a blackberry one too! I love blueberries and think I can freeze a bunch for winter!
