How Much Money Do You Need
-
As much as I can get my grubby hands
-
Money was fun to play with in kindergarten. I'm not so sure if it is just as rewarding now.
-
Money doesn't come easy & everything's so expensive anymore.

Heard today that Rembrandt went bankrupt at the end as well...
Rembrandt definitely went up and down. He was pretty famous in his lifetime, but there were bouts of poverty as well. He was an interesting person. He had the starving artist thing going on and he was a superstar. He's the only man I can think of who I'd go up with to see his etchings.

Money to live comfortably. Lottery's up to $70 million this week. I'd like to have a share of that.

^ I don't know of anyone here who can afford to help you financially, including myself. You should get a hold of the charitable organizations around you.
-
^^ I was not asking anyone here to help me financially. I am posting a post. I have been offered imaginary jobs lately. But it was all a cruel game. All of it was a lie. I am sure if I was into real estate flip flopping and stealing from others I would be fine right now as far as comfort. But I was born with morals and ethics and apparently that is not good for short term survival. I lost 7 years of my life and everything I owned or loved due to a game. Some people in this world are just predators who take and take without giving back to society. That is what happened to me. I trusted the wrong people. And they know who they are. I pray those people are homeless soon. Amen. Like Paul's song says: Hell To Pay
-
^ Also like one of Paul's new songs...Hope for the Future. I pray that you & yours will find peace.

I need: $10,476,583.32
That would leave you with about $24 after taxes

They certainly were incredible etchings! I really love the expression on this one, one you don't see often from the 1600's! From what a guide said, the Anglo Dutch wars caused a tightening of the belt, by the Dutch, and they no longer spent the money on portraits. This affected both Vermeer and Rembrandt.

Money is something I am forced to need, not a need I was born with, so... I'm a man, I was born to hunt, not to shop.

$24.00

^ I like that one ..... it reminds me of hearing deeper cuts on the album ... this is a deeper cut in the Artist's world ..... That would be a good exhibit to see these etchings Another way to be "rich" with such talent and abilities
-
I just want enough money to live comfortably on & a little left over for extras would be great. So as the saying goes: "Hi Ho, Hi Ho, it's off to work we go".

You can see his work all over the Netherlands. If he scribbled something on paper, it's in a museum somewhere.

I am so happy that someone on advised me to go to the Rembrandt huis museum. It was the most wonderful thing, for me, to see his actual house and see his etchings. I took a number of photos, but I so love this. You are right, it is the Temporary Secretary of Rembrandt! Of all his formal self portraits, this one is so gloriously a spark in his Dark Room! So brazen for its time! I could only get a small print, which I'm having framed! If only they didn't coat the etched plates and so that more prints could be run.

You're welcome.
