Sounds FUN! We did that 30 years ago. I bet the river was a bit higher back then. lol. We only went on a daytrip so you will be going on a much more rugged, longer one. Have fun!

I hope I can get off work! It will be so much fun with my friends! I hope it's not going to bee too rough.... I'm also going to the North Rim and go out on the glass bottomed horseshoe over the Canyon...even if I suddenly get scared and have to crawl across it!

I had a chance to parachute near the Grand Canyon once, but I chickened out. It's too bad you can't actually jump into the canyon.

It sounds cool, but with the heat, I bet there's some unbelievable thermals in there!

It's nearest to Vegas, a five mile drive from the South Rim... I tried to get my brother to go when we saw Paul at the Joint. I thought it the North Rim, but I think it's Western Rim.

Yep, we tried to get there 2 years ago. The roads were not even paved. Maybe they have it better now.

That may have been the problem. We were trying to find it when approaching from the south. Maybe the only road going in is from the east, from Vegas.

there only one way in according to Google...take 93 and then there's a road that goes directly there.
