I'm never a fan of the actual arena selling tickets. I don't think their system can handle it. I always breathe a sigh of relief when it's through Ticketmaster.

I do it all the time for LESSER high profile concerts. I'd rather drive to an arena for face value tickets. HOWEVER I would never do that for Paul McCartney. I'll play the game and pay the fees; if not then I have no chance of getting them.

Struck out on the PM.com presale, struck out on the First Niagara presale, and struck out on the general sale....is anybody selling tickets to this show?!

It's a hot ticket, but that wasn't why it sold out in 3 minutes. First Niagara's site doesn't have robot protection. Stub Hub and other scalper sites bought up all the tickets.

Yeah, a "SOLD OUT" show in the traditional sense is hard to measure these days, since these scalper sites buy up so many tickets.

There are only like 700 seats on StubHub though. Ive never seen a more expensive secondary market for Paul than this show. Philly in June was high, but not this high. Also, it seems weird that demand is so high this fall but he nearly failed to sell out Charlottesville and Columbia last June. If I was him, I would add a second night for the 24th or 25th.

First Niagara uses Tickets.com to sell their tickets online, which IS a high-volume ticketing system. It just happens to be evil because it tosses EVERYONE into that virtual waiting room immediately. Ticketmaster at least lets you select quantity and type of ticket before making you wait.

I can't wait! I'm seeing Ringo in Toronto on October 20th, coming back home on the 21st, and then the next day I'll be seeing Paul. Second time seeing Ringo, first time seeing Paul. I'm hoping there aren't too many empty seats at this show, because I know how too many scalpers got ahold of tickets, and are charging outrageous prices for them. Buffalo better make a good impression on Paul! It's not every day a legend like him comes here.

from Buffalo news Father William J. Weiksnar, a Franciscan at the St. Patrick Priory, quipped that it was easier to get a ticket for the papal audience in Washington, D.C., than to get a ticket to the McCartney show.

This is from the local news in Buffalo NY. That's me Sara on the news. I think it's awful that people were not able to get the opportunity to purchase tickets. Ticket brokers are the devil! http://wivb.com/2015/08/31/many-mccartney-fans-feeling-short-changed-after-sellout/ P.S. looking for 2 tickets anywhere in the building and not trying to spend a crazy amount of money!
