Explosion In The Universe Second Only To The Big Bang... Did A Civilization Much Older Than Ours Cross The Line With Their Version Of The Hadron Collider, Millions Of Years Ago? Did They Create A New Universe That Will Expand And Takeover Ours? http://imagine.gsfc.nasa.gov/news/18may98.html

Only 50 seconds to create that much energy !!! The most powerful energy burst since the Big Bang!!! I certainly hope it is not a civilization with a Hadrian Collider I'm trying to wipe out those thoughts with the one at CERN!!! Was just watching something about a supernova heading for the Pillars of Creation. Of course, we won't be able to see that yet, since the light won't reach us until the 3000's

Time moves very slowly in the big picture, thankfully! I had to refresh my thoughts on the word Hadron. Hadron In particle physics, a hadron /'haedr?n/ is a composite particle made of quarks held together by the strong force in a similar way as molecules are held together by the electromagnetic force.

" I had to refresh my thoughts on the word Hadron." well at least you didn't have too far to go, since it was in the quote My spell checker keeps changing words on me, I'll have to preview everything I type, as I've noticed, it can change them even when I'm trying to override it!!! Of course, it was more familiar with Hadrian's Wall I presume!! Thanks for the definition of Hadron though, it's a new one for me! What are they thinking of doing over at CERN? I've seen those phony you tubes. Wondering if it could be related to the stories of Tesla and The Philadelphia experiment? Speaking of time....

Are you saying that your spell-checker has been drinking spiked eggnog?

It's certainly been drinking something!!! I'm locking up the cabinet!

It's so much harder to spell, with a few eggnogs in you... Was looking at how they boost the speed of the protons in the animation in this article. http://phys.org/news/2016-06-harvest-lhc.html Is this the same principal on how they kept Voyager moving on, by slingshoting it around the planets when they were lined up?

Voyager and others have used the gravity of planets to accelerate there speed. Magnetic fields are used to speed up the particles in colliders. Particles travelling at nearly the speed of light in opposite directions occasionally run into one another in the colliders. Their combined speeds in opposite directions then, is already exceeding the speed of light when they collide. The conCERN of I and many others is that there may be more energy than expected locked up in these particles to be released if they keep increasing velocities and have more direct and symmetrical collisions.

If you're conCERNed, I am too!!! Could this be an unstoppable chain reaction of some sort?

My brother who was on 2 tours of duty in Tonkin Gulf as a jet mechanic on the USS America and USS Ticonderoga shares the same concerns. It's not atomic or nuclear reaction that is the concern. It is the subatomic reaction potential that is the concern. It is the make-up of the protons they collide that is the concern. What if there is much more energy locked up in them then theorized? There are thresholds in physics. We didn't know about sonic booms until we broke the sound barrier ourselves. I am not really overly concerned although. We would just reappear again in the new universe they create.

In that case, I hope I reappear younger and with all of the knowledge I have today!!
