Saw him on what now was his last tour in Liverpool, think he only did 3 more dates in total after and it has to be said his voice was in wonderful condition a true star gone too soon but i can't help but feel too given his rather sparse output over the years if he'd have been a little more prolific how good would have been.
Hi hengirl! How are you? I hope all is well with you and your family. What year was his last tour? Was he trim during his last tour? The reason why I'm asking is because I have read reports that George Michael was overweight when he died. Is this true?
They showed a pic on TV which was purported to be recent and he was very heavy.

He really looked unhealthy and overweight when he died. How sad.

Hi hey_kittay! How are you? I really believe that George Michael's/Elton John's version of this song is better than the original! No wonder it became #1!

^^ Hi! I am great! Thanks for asking. How are you doing? I am biased towards Elton, but really I do love the Elton/George version best. I think Elton agrees somewhere I read.

I'm doing fine, thank you for asking. I really wish that George Michael and Elton John would have worked together more. They would have brought the best out of each other like they did in "Don't Let The Sun Go Down On Me."

ð??ð?½Hi hey_kittay! I love that song! In my opinion, George Michael would have been the most PERFECT front man for QUEEN after Freddie Mercury passed away! It is also my opinion that George Michael refused to be the front man for QUEEN out of respect for the late great Freddie Mercury! I take it that you have listened to "SOMEBODY TO LOVE" that was performed live by George Michael & Queen at the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert that took place in London in 1992. That performance was perfect! It was like George Michael was possessed by the spirit of Freddie Mercury that very moment! I have watched that performance over and over again many times through the years, I never get tired of watching it.
