Fly Paul Fly to Australia:
It really is staggering that there has not been an announcement. Someone needs to inform Paul and his management that there are fans, venues, buzz and excitement in Australia that cannot continue to be ignored in fact a priority if anything. No matter how many billions Paul has it is economics pure and simple.
Yep, if I was him I would love to go there and perform. I have always dreamed of going to Australia but may not be able to cross it off my bucket list (lol) due to money and time. I hope for your country that he finally does come there, it would be awesome !! BTW - I am a big tennis fan and have been enjoying the Australian Open. I will be one of those who will get up at 3:30am in the US to watch the finals.
Venus vs Serena. Venus. is that an omen?

I'm a huge tennis fan. We were at the Nadal/Dimitrov match last night. It was one of the best matches I have ever witnessed. I'm happy that Serena isn't wiping Venus off the courts. We were also discussing last night the lack of news/rumours regarding Paul. Starting to look at Japan flights and whether I can justify the cost.

Cheapest for the whole lot you're probably looking at $2000. Rather hard to justify, I know. If I were going to spend that much on him, I'd rather go VIP here, get a great seat and soundcheck. But it's looking like we don't have that choice.

noooooo thats a lie! Paul said somewhere on interview prior to the aborted 2002 shows that he was looking forward to holding the cute cuddly koala bears, kangaroos and joeys. Maybe Colin Barnett can offer him bulk dollars to attract him as a star attraction as an election promise for WA since he is now Minister for Tourism. We are that desperate

Bruce did it right. 2013 did mainly arenas and a few big shows, built a nice relationship back up with the fans there. Was a smash, returned in 2014 and was a huuuuge hit. Envious of all those seeing him this year. He is utterly fantastic. The best live act out there. Paul a close second Hope Paul can invest in his Aussie fans. It is strange that he hasn't been back in nearly a quarter of a century. It's really weird.

I hope so, too. But just to flipflop for a bit (and I love Bruce!), Springsteen hasn't played in Japan since 1997.

I'm a huge fan of Macca. I've seen Wings in Melbourne in 1976 & Macca at the MCG in 1983, Live aid , Liverpool and at Knebworth in 1990. It disappoints me so much that the Aussie fans are totally disregarded and treated with disdain. In contrast I saw The Boss last night at AAMI Park in Melbourne. He puts on 3 hr plus shows and displays nothing but love & respect to his fans as he did 2 years previously and the 4 other tours since 2002.Paul could learn a lesson from your friend Bruce!

Eltons announced a tour and shows for September Cmon Paul its only you and Tom Petty who are holding out. we are a great bunch really

It would be nice to see him do a summer tour there, similar to what Springsteen just got done with. I sometimes question is there's even a market for Paul in Australia. There has got to be a good reason as to why it has been over 20 years since there was an Australian show. IMO, there has to be something that we don't know.
-
I would not want to see a show in Summer here. But, then again, I don't want to do anything in Summer! I can just imagine being at the concert, it's 40 degrees and I want to dance so much but I can't muster the energy. Plus, I like a concert in the dark.

its amazing to consider that Paul might think that we dont care or are not worth his while. The reason is easy, the Australian media dont feature Paul or play him on radio, probably not since Flaming Pie. But for the beatles factor alone he would easily sell out venues. Look at Midnight Oil selling out all over the world and they havent toured in 15 years!

Once again nothing came true. 2018 next chance? 25 year anniversary tour...
