My little black terrier named Pepe' or Puppy Dog is what we called him a lot, chewed through an electrical cord once. I woke up to barking and found him hiding in the stairwell. He chased shadows after that and was manic. He was always smiling and would shake his tail so hard that his body would bend too! I miss him dearly!

Our kid's cat just about tolerates our Aussie. Yesterday, when our Aussie was on our bed, our kid's cat got up on his hind legs, stretched up to the bed & touched noses with our Aussie!

Got to meet Caroll Spinney this weekend. Such a wonderful man and so very very kind. I admit, when he did a bit of Oscar the Grouch's voice to me (I had him sign my Oscar figure), I got a bit teary eyed. How could I not?

Yes and Big Bird! He's 84 years old and STILL voices both of them for Sesame Street. Several cast members were there, along with a cast member from Mr. Rogers. My early childhood really came back to me this weekend.

What a lovely man, read that he also played Oscar... He was originally picked, for Big Bird goes into Space...on the Challenger. Not sure what happen, they switched over to Christa McAuliff and she unfortunately died when it exploded after lift off. He was so after by that, knowing it could have been him.

I didn't know that he was originally supposed to be on the Challenger!

The Challenger explosion was terrible. Imagine how much worse it would have been with Big Bird on board.
