I'm glad you had a good time in Chicago Caroline I wish i was going to more shows too !!
I wish we had 8th row for the entire time!
Well 1st or 2nd would be even better !!! don't you think !!! Oh well , maybe next time !!!
OF COURSE! But I think my parents would rather have me go to college than be in the first row.. if you know what I'm saying..

I received Brian's new CD's some time last week while we were in Chicago. I ordered 3, so when I opened the box I saw the first one was sealed, then the second one sealed and the third one NOT SEALED!! So I sneaked a peek and sure enough, Whooooooo Hoooooooo, Brian signed the CD. Yeaaaaaaaaaaah I'll have to take it to the next concert!!! I wasn't expecting a signed one, but sure glad i did!! Judy

Sorry to interrupt the MM euphoria, but I couldn't NOT say that I saw the Chicago shows the other night.....Brian was great, as usual. It was really noticeable how many more guitar changes he had this time. He plays acoustic on a couple more songs this tour. I liked the new bass...not 100% sure because of the lighting, but it looked a bottle green type colour. He did have the red one he used when we saw him live in LA. He used the Gretsch a lot more this time, which is still my fave....it sounds great on those early/mid Beatles songs and he looks good with it. I'm trying hard not to mention songs because I know some people want to keep the setlist a surprise!! Again, I'm not totally sure because it all flashes by so quickly when you're actually there, but I think he did more vocals this time, too. He wore black both nights - and a shirt I have never seen before. It had like a gold thread running through it that made diamond shapes. No pinstripes. When Brian was introduced on the first night he said hello to some friends of his from High School and the second night he talked about how much he liked Chicago because of the musical influences, and he mentioned Etta and Muddy Waters amongst others. They were great, great shows. I wish I could get along to more of them. Those of you who are still waiting are in for a treat!
Sounds fantastic!! I get excited just reading people's reviews! Thanks for posting it. I noticed Brian's new bass, too, but I thought it was blue. It's so hard to tell with the lighting. I also thought he seemed to do more vocals than last time.

Ha!! It's probably red!! We need a 'bass-watch' from anyone going to the shows so we can get to the bottom of the mystery!! The guys did a wonderful job with the backing vocals this time...they always do.....but this time, they were exceptional.
