~ Its ok to POST to Paul here, go ahead?
Hi yas Harley!! (LTNS) Hmm...post to PAUL? ummm ok...(I'm nervous like now). BUT...LET THE SHOW GO ON: This is a poem that's copyrighted...found it off of the web...MY WORDS TO PAUL...now: here goes (harley ) ************************************************************* Lost and Found I've lost my shades and have my high beams on. I can see what is my future. And undoubtedly what was my past. I once had played and interesting game of Pool. Chosen was the best cue stick. I saw: The other players 8 ball make the pocket. The player had played/called the 8 ball pocket right. Game over. I could have played Pool better, And called the 8 ball pocket first. But I didn't for, I had thought of the player before myself. I was, blindly, happy for that player. I like to see others happy. I had to be blinded somehow, For an 8 ball I am not. A rather good Pool player I am. I found myself. ************************************************************* Huggers and all the best is yet to come Paul. Peace, Love and Understanding, K (...who did this 'cause Harley said it was ok... ...)

Yes...'tis I K! too! Oh now Harley...how can one really translate anothers poetry? But, I'll give it a go...HEH! (here goes...just 'cause Harley asked... ...) To me, the poem was stating that the person was kinda lost in love and even though that person was a better pool player, she/he let the other win. Because of love. So, in the end...I think that person realized what she/he would do for love. And found her/himself, and was comfortable with it. AIN'T LOVE GRAND?!! Ok...that's my translation...for what it's worth Harley. LOL...hope it helped ya a bit. I understand poetry can be confusing. But that's life...ya know?!! BTW. Why I chose that poem (I found off the web), is simply because that's the way I feel Paul is about Love. Hell, Paul loves love...I think...and that's my two red cents for what it's worth. Peace, Love and Understanding, K (...with feet up and hat on...with huggers to Paul too!...)

To Sir, Respectivly, with Love Young I was, youth may be waisted. You helped me, without catching the bus. You helped me through a whole life tasted. You dealt your hand with your gift, to us. I want to help you as you've helped me! Don't know you, but you love me, your fan. I want to help. How? I hand you a virtual red rose, with a smell devine. Grab it and hold it dear, it will not die. For what you've given is simply sublime. What I give is all I can think to give, no lie. I go on with you always near, Singing and playing your songs Paul. You'll go on with me not there, In spirit tho I am...with wishes far beyond all! You've been thanked by just me. You've thanked me by being you. Please "Let It Be". For you are a "SIR" who shines free. Fly on...Teach...Love and Always be there. Please, Sir. For when I'm gone, others will care. As I have...Dear Sir. *** Peace, Love and Understanding, K (...with hat on and feet up...)

I am new at this site, but I am so glad I found it. 30 something years ago I sent you a fan letter, that I'm sure never made it to you b/c I was just a little girl and I copied the address down from a magazine I think, but forgot to put your name above the "c/o". So here is my fan letter 30+ years later: Paul, I have loved your music since I was a toddler. The first song I can ever remember hearing in fact, was "Yesterday." My brother literally had ALL the Beatles' records. Later, when I was 14, my social studies teacher in middle school showed us a movie about the Beatles and something happened - I fell head over heels for you - almost wishing I had been born 10 years earlier so I could have experienced the whole Beatlemania thing. My friends who were into groups like Aerosmith and even the Bay City Rollers (hey it was 197, thought I was nuts. I swore I'd visit England someday and meet you. Well, I am an old married chick with kids now, and I doubt that will ever happen, but I still love you and your music. I am so sorry to hear of the trouble in your marriage right now. I want to send a hug out to both of you.

Dear Paul, Every year on your birthday, my mum, or I when I got older baked "you" a lovely birthday cake. This year, being your special birthday I thought I would have a practise run. So I baked a delicious chocolate cake and cut two slices. One for myself and one for my dog. We were both enjoying our first slice when the phone rang. As I was speaking on the phone, my dog picked up the entire remainder of the cake and walked out with it. I have always considered I have the best behaved dog in the universe and She has never stolen food in the entire 15 years of her life. So It must have been a darn good cake. So herewith is an E-therial slice. I would like to thank you so much for your beautiful music. It has brought me happiness every day of my life. Kind Regards, Mars Jetson

I close the doors and open the window and sing with rhyme and the wind blows with our merry band. We do so fly."~ **** Peace, Love and Understanding. K
