Oh, come on... Maccascruff, F-animal, Paullfan ( Giri ) and everyone...there´s nothing wrong with Paul using Botox. I would do the same if I had a wife some decades younger than me someone said to have seen him from the first row and that - " he looks great... " of course any 62 year old man using Botox injection´s looks great from the first or second row The only thing I´m worried is that Botox is a very expensive procedure and I´M not sure Paul McCartney has enough money to do that
Actually, I am not saying there is anything wrong with using Botox (although there have been alot of suggestions that it is not as safe as people think),it`s just I really wonder why anyone thinks that he does. You seem to be stating it as a fact now. I have seen him close up and he does look great - and completely natural. When I say someone looks great I actually don`t mean they look like a 22 year old! He certainly does not look like he is using Botox. I think Paul is too sensible to think that being injected with the Botulism toxin could ever be a good idea! Maybe people have a funny idea about what people in their 60`s are supposed to look like. I also think that people who complain about him dyeing his hair would have a shock if they saw his natural hair colour, which is probably nearer white than grey now.
-
Hi gang. Sorry I've been away for a few days but all this talk of Botox frightened me away...especially when I look in the mirror, heh, heh. Paul doesn't use anything other than maybe colouring his hair although when I was last a few feet from him in June at the Kings Dock Liverpool show his hair colour was fine. What I've noticed from other Merseybeat groups of the 60's era is they all look good. And I'm okay too.....so....as I've ALWAYS said. Rock'n'Roll keeps you young. Back later tonight. Cheers all. Sam.

Hi everyone, I'm having computer troubles, so my time on line is limited, I keep getting booted off. Sam I hope you are doing well. I agree with you Rock and Roll keeps you young. Paul is a handsome man. I was front and center in Atlantic City. He is energentic, enthusiastic and again handsome. Why do we need to add, for his age. He is handsome, he is talented, puts on a show like no one else, period. There is nothing superficial about taking pride in the way one looks, it's part of anyone's overall package. We have no idea what John would be like today, so it's silly to say John wouldn't do this or that. John would be John and do what made him happy.
-
We should just be happy that they are making music and touring stiill, what's the difference what they do to their hair or themselves to look better i think they BOTH look great!!!
-
Hello Sam, Everyone! I just put in my daily vote...Sam you're in the lead, right up there at the top, as you should be! I'm going to side-step the entire age/Botox issue, it isn't important! Wishing you all a safe a happy Sunday, with lots of love! Merry
-
I look in the mirror everyday and see myself getting older, but I'm over 50 and I should be looking over. I refuse to argue or debate anyone in this thread about anything I say so please don't try to start an argument. That isn't what this thread is about. Paul and Ringo are both over 60 and they both look great and that is my last word. I'll go vote for Sam in a little bit.
-
Really, the statements about Paul`s appearance are inappropriate, as is spreading misinformation, and that is bound to start an argument.
-
No arguement here at all! Peace and respect for Sam, and each other. Hope you all have a beautiful Mother's Day Sunday! Merry
-
hehe it's already starting one!! i agree, just be thankful they are still doing music!! Paul and Ringo both have aged well.
-
No argument here Maccascruff everyone is entitled to their opinion.
-
Hey, calm down ... it was not my intention, just something funny I had noticed but I´ll not repeat ad nauseum the same thing and I´m not arguing with anyone and make anyone angry but to ask " respect for Sam " is a little too much. ( I`m beatlemaniac since 1964 and you cannot accuse me of being against them...) shock uffff re. footballl lol I saw the 3 X 0 LFC goals and they were all beatiful especially the Owen´s... what a great football player ! We here including myself consider him better than Beckham but LFC should try hard to mantain him for 2005 season

Paulfan:
No argument here Maccascruff everyone is entitled to their opinion.
Yes, and people expressing different opinions is actually what an argument is!
-
Okay on to something else!!
-
Sorry Cesar, I didn't mean to imply anything bad against you or anyone here! I would never do that! I just meant that I think Sam has already mentioned his viewpoint on the matter and I felt that it's time to talk about something else! Believe me, I would never intentionally argue with any of you here, of course we are all entitled to our own opinion's! We all love the Beatles and what they stand for...love and peace. Merry
-
I guess so Femaleanimal everyone has different opinions. We should respect them. Cesar I know you didn't want an argument. Maybe I shouldn't have started it by asking Sam what John would have looked like now. Merry I agree with you peace and love to all as the Beatles said.
-
I don´t remember who started this subject shock I just remembered another thing and another subject has started this way ? nothing more than this I didn´t want to create a fight twisted among people on the thread... I just know Macca is a very simple person - unlike another famous artists that consider themselves God creatures. So, I think Paul does and think the same way common or ordinary people he has a respect for the audience as anyother artist has demonstrated So.... no matter what he does or how he does personally he´s a great guy like other beatle people including Mr. Leach
-
Hello everyone. I don't believe ANYONE was intending to be contentious so let's get back to being the friendly thread. Cesar LFC are looking good now for the European Champiuonships next season, especially as Newcastle only drew at hiome 1-1. They have to win their last two games, the last of which is against us at Anfield. I think they have problems...right ??! Back later tonight. Cheers everyone. Sam
-
Hi Sam, Hi everyone. Hope all of you are well. Just read you recent discussion of Paul and aging. I'm glad you guys are civil and resolve things quickly. Its refreshing, after reading some of the other subject posts that get out of hand. Sam, since I'm going to Gothenburg to see Paul, I've postponed going to Liverpool this year. However, I still wish I could see Liverpool. I would have to travel by myself as no one else is able to go. Don't know how Liverpool is for a woman to be there on her own. Part of me doesn't want to cancel my trip. I so torn! Oh well, if that's the worse of my problems, then my life is pretty darn good.
-
Hi Diane You'd be fine in Liverpool. I could book you into the Feathers which is very cosy and reasonably priced...abut $80 a night. And I'd keep my eye on you and have you meet some of my friends. You'd be okay...and would enjoy it more so than Gothenburg. Let me know when you think you're going. But I'll be in Chicago July and Aug. Love and hugs Sam xx
-
Dear Sam, Thanks for the info. I think I'll cancel my trip for Beatlesfest week, and schedule another time when it is quieter and I can truely enjoy Liverpool. As for GOthenburg, I have a special package which includes Paul's soundcheck as well as being in front with special access. I will let you know when I plan to go to Liverpool. Would love to sit with you and friends for a pint . Just want to make sure that its when your around. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again.
