Silly questions for Paul
-
Hey Paul, do you know where Lilly The Pink is? This board could use some of her medicinal compound. Don't you think? Take care moonchild, keep on dancing and waiting for a smile from a sun child; that smile is bound to come

So like ... with every lunar cycle are we going to have to go down these analogously arrived at absurdities or what? Sorry if that came out the wrong way ... but I'm pretty sure I spelled everything the right way, so I guess I'm not quite sure what I'm apologizing for.
Some people really liked "Dark Side of the Moon" too much doncha think Paul??
No apologies needed Opus. However I would like to thank you. You have inadvertently helped me escape this messageboard!
I suppose cosmic people like me are sensitive-types. I have tried to have conversations here, but I don't seem to be able to 'communicate' with most of the people. I am just too fragile for this all. I love Pink Floyd. But actually "Moonchild" is from a song from King Crimson called: "Moonchild Including The Dream And The Illusion." A very beautiful song. (And the deer were a reference to the 9th anniversary of my grandfathers death on Jan. 31st 1998.) An illusion that I could have a dialogue here. I do believe I will return to Strawberry Fields in The Court Of The Crimson King! I bid you all Adieu! Wasn't it silly for me to try at all Paul?
Ah now ... don't be too hard on yourself. My comments actually had more to do with things I've seen elsewhere than here, although it does seem that just about every lunar cycle somebody ends up getting a little giddy 'bout it. Just sparked the old noggin' and, well ... there you go. I was going to post an image that I thought you might find appropriate for the screen name, don't know if it'll matter much if you're off to another area of the net ... although you might wanna take it with if you check back and see it. Well here 'tis:
Wherever you go, there you are. Am I a little to rough around the edges or do you think I'm redeemable on some level??? Yikes ... and whoops.

That was far too serious for this thread (IMO), but hey evidently I'm feeling rather squeamish about being out here myself of late. So the question is ... What do I know, and why are people taking me so very seriously in a silly questions thread? Doris ... HELP!!!!!
-
The full moon has compelled me to again visit this silly thread!
(and in the process i have violated an ancient oath, but that is another story...) Opus, the photo of the lunar phases is so very lovely. I just don't have the words to describe how much they mean to me. I know it is just a photo to you, but I love it. Thank you.
You are indeed redeemable, a very sweet person. I shouldn't take this silly thread seriously should I?
p.s.> don't be squeamish, I like you to post. It is so interesting.

BTW> "Little Miss Nobody," I took your good advice and had a sip of Lilly the Pink's medicinal compound, and though I am feeling quite funny at the moment, I do think it is working!
Maybe if I can get Joan to put down her metaphysical experiment for the moment and pay me a visit, I shall be ship shape by morning!

Ah ... I do love the off the cuff reference to Maxwell. Nice move.
Salvador Dali likes it too.
Glad to hear you're feeling better 'moon' ... I didn't mean to hurt your feelings or anything, and I'm sorry that I did it in a way that made you saddened about your grandfather's passing too. I really do understand the appreciation of the moon, just made the comment and well ... things happen. As a matter of fact tonight upon my drive home I ended up watching the sunset on the west side of me while the moon was rising over Mt. Jefferson on the east side. Quiet beautiful due to the tones within the sky ... all pastel and soft looking, plus it was so clear that Mt. Jefferson was visible (normally when it's clear we can see Mt. Saint Helen's and Mt. Hood, but seeing the one behind Saint Helen's was just very nice). Okay so that was a dash of silliness with a purposeful apology too, hope it didn't get too deep for the thread. I'm sure I've gone much deeper elsewhere ... oh well, c'est la vie.

Say Paul do you ever ask your fans for their autographs love doris.
-
Whoops ... that was Mt. Adams
... they do look rather similar though. Guess what? I just found out that my mom was born in a place that means "children of the sun or sun people" in a Native American tongue ... that's kind of cool doncha think??
-
tee-hee! I LOVE the Dali!
I apologise as well for misinterpreting your post. It must have been the sensitive nature of my grandfathers death anniversary. Or maybe it was the effect of the full moon, you know it can make one a raving lunatic!
We are cool! Hey I wish I could see the beautiful mountains where you live, esp. on a full moon night! How exciting! I have been out there before, it is such a tranquil place. Nature everywhere! So glad you live in such a wonderful area of the country!
Goodnight!

Paul have you ever considered doing Melodrama. If nothing else for the fun of it love doris.
-
Opus, where is it? This Children of the Sun place? I am looking!
Oh my! I have found an actual state in the USA. But then I found myself somewhere else...again! And it is in a most unexpected place...really "spacey!" Am I tripping here?
-
Hey Paul do you ever wash your own car love doris.

Too funny ... yeah, I forgot to tell you I'm rather cosmic myself or perhaps more astral than cosmic. Whatever tomato tomatoe, potato potatoe ... hey that reminds me, Doris what about that collaboration we thought of for Paul to get involved in ... something to do with Yam's right?? Oh yes, it was "My Sweet Yam's" ... a super group of sorts. If I'm going to mention that one I really should mention the other one ... "The Ouch Potato's" ... see one was a English speaking super group and the other was a Spanish speaking one I think. Maybe Doris remembers details better than I do. Charo was supposed to be in the Spanish one.
Let's see ... well actually it's what the name Spokane means in that language 'moon,' I'd gone out to see if I could find the native names for the various mountains round here and ended up on an official state page that was going through meanings of the names for the various city's, rivers and such translated. Didn't mean to be self-indulgent with that. Paul do you like jelly beans? If so what flavor of jelly beans (after a while they all taste the same, unless we're talking about Jelly Belly's of course)?
-
If the children are in the sun do you bring them sunblocker love doris.
-
I'm thinking that they'd just need to hear Billy Thorpe ... you know that song of his. Okay back to the silly question for a moment. You've been warned.
Let's see ... if you could add any color to the palette of M&M colors, which would you add?? Or conversely if you remove one of the colors that they've got, which would you remove??
-
Please Paul, could you send me some of Lilly's miracle compound too?
-
Question? why so, many questions.
-
Paul what kind of pickle do you like love doris

What size?

Now Dorothy behave yourself. I totally shouldn't have brought up those super groups ... far too starchy I suppose. Which day of the week is the favorite? That's pretty tame isn't it??
