Silly questions for Paul

Gee Opus, I was just joking about the witch stuff, being silly, you know. Or at least trying to be. I wasn?t referring to wicca. Congratulations you made it out of the 'tug of war' ! Hope you will enjoy watching the show.
Yeah, well I didn't really take you too seriously anyway... trust me I wasn't vexing on it in the least. I think I enjoyed watching the show last time I was at this point too, but then again maybe that's not accurate (I dunno). Hey Paul ... do you miss Icarus?
-
You know for some reason I kept thinking of the that film 'The Witches of Eastwick' when you lot were going on about witches, and consequently I was wondering who would be covering Jack Nicholson's role. I enjoy Jack quite a lot, don't you?

You'll need a mouse to fully opportunize this one: http://www.hurtwood.demon.co.uk/Fun/copter.swf ... I've got a touchpad so I keep crashing. :

Just some food for thought on the value of asking silly questions provided by MIT ... http://www-tech.mit.edu/V105/N27/carl.27o.html

I LOVE the magic 8 Ball! They are so cool! I liked my answers. The 'mind reader' cannot read my mind. Maybe it is because my brain is full of silly thoughts? I have a touch pad so I did not try the other one. The MIT article was quite interesting. Thanx Opus. Oh, I was just joking about the witch thing too...

You and nemo are very amusing about that admission of mine about not being one 'moon' ... I'm pretty sharp and can generally discern when someone's being serious versus when they're being silly, just based upon prior thread contributions and general conversational style. In other words, don't worry 'bout it ... Yeah the magic 8-ball is cool, and the mindtrip ... well, I'm with you on that one ... it was way easy to not be impressed by that one. Maybe later I'll try steering that copter with a mouse ... 'cause it definitely looks like it could be fun. By the way ... it's good to see you out here.

Say Paul what kind of dip do you like to go with your potato chips love doris.

Do you read the posts Mike answers on his website? If so, ever thought of answering US sometime????

hmmm? Icarus flew too close to the sun and his wings melted casting him into the sea right? Maybe he/she has shapeshifted into another entity.

Opus:
Too funny ... you've captured my Bobbly Paul??? Come back sweet prince, she wants to strip you bare. TLOL.
Tis' true! I have indeed captured sweet Prince Bobbly Paul! I was not recognised as I wore a robber's masque, whilst riding a most magnificent warhorse. He is now safe within the walls of my castle in the Mystical Blue Woods. The Prince is being treated very fine, and has any instrument his heart desires, all he must do is snap his finger and it is his. I captured him so that he might find solitude here, and regenerate his spirit. I would not take a king's ransom for Prince Bobbly Paul. He is free to leave when he wishes. Do not worry, the Prince will be none the worse for wear when he returns to you...

Paul can you make a sweet potato pie. love doris.

Opus,???????.boo!!!! I am glad I decided to quit before my wings got burned. Doesn?t that make you happy, Paul? By the way: I haven?t seen the ?The Witches of Eastwick? movie. And you did, Opus? Kind of weird isn?t it? But I loved Jack Nicholson in the ?One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest? movie. Hey Paul, do you know: You are Paul and Mike is Mike You don?t have to be alike Don't be scared to say: I do it my way I love you anyhow

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS CONCEPT ... don't let anyone tell you differently 'moonchild' you're a riot and I really like your take on the capture of sweet Paul. I'll be happy to receive him back if he ever wishes to leave your very good disposition. Too darned cute it is.

Yeah it was a weird movie to tell you the truth ... but that's what came to mind as I was pondering the subject. Well that and after I responded sometime on Friday or Saturday I found that thing about the Yoko signing ... another oddity given our conversations over the week. Paul do you believe in Kismet?

Yup! That's about the gist of it, I always felt that the Labyrinth that he and his father created to contain the Minotaur sounded a bit like an analogy to the human psyche, well ... that or the Internet. Either way ... I do know a way out, and I've always felt a certain kindredness with the Internet given that it was technically "born" 'round the same time as me (it's recognized as having been first "tried out" the very month that I was born in 1969) ... sort of like my twisted twin (we're fraternal though).
-
Is sarcasm really a "no no" ... or just on the second Tuesday of months that end in "Y"?
-
Are you a visual or auditory type of person Paul? Just had a situation where I was providing some assistance to someone over the phone, and well ... it wasn't until after I did a little hands on inquiry that I realized that I needed to correct something that I'd provided erroneous information about ... at any rate, just occurred to me that although being able to recall things from memory might be akin to a photographic memory type of thing ... it's good to have a recourse in a pinch. Have a good day everyone!
-
hmmm...yes, I can see the analogy between the Internet and the human psyche. Even to go further, I can relate to photographic memory as being a part of the mix. Too strange huh? My favourite Jack Nicholson movie is "Wolf." Of course I am sure that surprises no one here. I think the movie is SO romantic! Jack is a great actor in all his movies though. Thank you Opus for the understanding of Prince Bobbly Paul's circumstance. He is most delightful to chat the night away with! After administering some of Lilly the Pink's medicinal compound, (on Nemo's instruction,) exposure to the wonder of Nature, and lovely music for his sweet ears, he is progressing nicely. Auditory or visual? I wonder which Paul is? I think I am both. But that is common is it not? Although I take great pleasure in listening to "Revolution 9," You know every nuance of the piece. I LOVE lyrics to songs, even if they 'seem' non-sensical. But as of the past couple of years, I have come to appreciate the actual music even more. I listen to classical music every night before I go to sleep. I think it is great therapy for my animals to be around music as well. Nemo, that was a great little poem you wrote! I simply adore it! I wonder if Paul and Mike like it? I am sure they do! Good night and sleep tight all! p.s.> it is the 13th!

Paul do you ever feel like chiming in with a row row row your boat type of sing a long. Everybody is wanting to enjoy your charming chatter one more time. love doris.

That's funny Doris, reminds me of a guy that I dated once that ended up doing that on a rollercoaster. At any rate we were on 'Top Gun' a ride at Great America and the ride got stuck ... so he ended up getting everyone that was freaking out to start singing 'row, row, row your boat' as the crew worked on the ride. 'twas quite funny ... he was pretty amusing in general, he was named for Zebulon Pike (Pike's Peaks namesake) ... he claimed he was related and it was a family name (i.e. his name was Pike). Have I mentioned all this before? <that's my question I've decided
