(((((wunjo))))) It was a GREAT night! Mary and I did nothing but laugh prior to the show, during intermission, and after the show! We were laughing so hard in a coffee shop, the couple sitting across from us started to laugh! And the show......It was just amazing! The Fab Faux are in a league of their own! I wish that you could see them, wunjo! They are in perpetual motion during the entire show! They are constantly changing instruments....They all take turns singing the lead. Do you know how there is a "star" of every show? There isn't just one star with this group! They are all stars! They are all so talented. They are so respectful and mindful of one another on the stage. You don't see one trying to outshine the other. It's just the opposite with this group! They point out each others attributes! It's so refreshing!!! It leaves you with such a good feeling!

Thank you so much (((((HUGEfan))))). You made one of my dreams possible Saturday night and I can't thank you enough! I will see you in Kentucky soon. Here are questions I wanted to ask the band but couldn't, due to stars in my eyes. 1-Did they sing the harmonies while singing back-up vocals during their "Glad All Over" performance at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony? 2-Where does Will Lee get his pants? I would love to get a pair for my son.(Will wears really cool 1960's style pants.) 3-I want to learn how to sing and play drums at the same time, AND I'd like Rich to teach me.
You're welcome and glad you had such a good time! It was nice meeting you and your son. Happy to see you've decided to come to Kentucky. In answer to your questions.... 1. Yes, they sang the harmonies. 2. Will has a majority of his stage clothes custom made...as I'm sure was the case with the striped pants he was wearing that night. 3. OK, I think I know what you're getting at! Rich really does give lessons though! The details are usually added in the Fab Faux newsletter.

Thank you Chris (HUGEfan) . I kind of figured the pants were not off the rack but you never know. My mind was so blown away on Saturday night by The Fab Faux performance. This was my third concert and it just gets better and better! I have a whole lot more to say about the band but I'd like to post something my son and I spoke of after the concert. I asked him some questions and this is what he said,
Will Lee played drums on Mr. Moonlight, and added orchestral string sounds during 'Within you Without you'. Rich's drumming was crisp and dead on all night, as usual. Between songs during the audience banter, his quiet press rolls on the snare drum were evidence of his technique and control. Will mentioned the Rich has perfect pitch, and lamented that this gift was wasted on a drummer.
Oh MAN!!!! When Rich jumped from behind the drums and took center stage, the audience was treated to the pitch perfect, raspy, bluesy vocal on "Mr. Moonlight." This was indeed one of my favorite nights IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!!!! I will gush more about the band later. TLP....we had the best time! My sides hurt from laughing so much, and it was so much fun all night! I can't wait until the next show, when we will all be sitting together! I am singing the "Friends" theme from the T.V. show. If I ever hear that song, you know I will be thinking of us, sitting on the sofa,in the coffee shop, laughing hysterically Maybe, sometime in the future, I will write the "Romance Novel" version of my meeting with Rich

Hi lindafan... i've seen them three times also...coming up on my fourth in June and I can't wait. I couldn't agree more with you and TLP..they are excellent musicians...each one in their own rite...and together they make it as close to seeing the real thing as is possible...just close your eyes and dream.. I'm spreading the Fab Faux word as much as I can here on the other side of the country...but it seems they're already developing a west coast fan base. very cool!

Hi Erica! Saturday was our sixth time seeing The Fab Faux, and we'll being catching lucky number seven next October! They just get better and better every time we see them! LOVE your post cards of The Hotel Del......My favorite hotel!
-
Erica...... "Hopalong" is coping! Knee pain comes & goes...right now it's craptacular! I'd love to go check out the Hotel Del Coronado! I didn't realize it was close to where we were gonna be. Very cool! Hopefully by June neither of us will be in a wheelchair. : Can't wait to see ya either! Wonder if Pedro...I mean Eric...will be joining us again!?!?! We might need a translator!
-
wheelchair?!?! bite your tongue...don't even put THAT kind of voodoo on us! maybe we can hold onto eachother and each of us can use our good leg to walk... Pedro..Eric?..LMFAO!!! forgot about that! i dunno, but we'll definitely need one...a LOT closer to the border down there hang in there...it's a long haul

I've been thinking Erica....The Fab Faux are selling out small venues, such as The Keswick Theater very quickly. I wonder if they will (or can) start to play more Faux shows in larger venues...Do their professional lives leave them any more time to play Faux shows? On their website, people who have never seen them before, and go to a show become instant fans!! I have not heard a single bad review from ANYONE!!!! I can rave about the Fab Faux all day and night to someone who hasn't been to a concert and they cannot grasp exactly what I'm saying. I've heard from a few unknowledgeable ones,"They're NOT THE BEATLES!!!" : Of course they are not the Beatles and never claim to be...The Fab Faux RECREATE the Beatles music. That being said, they are each excellent musicians, and do not need to put on a Beatle ACT. I know there are many who love the whole dressing up, putting on accents, but that's not for me. The Fab Faux are the best Beatle's tribute band BAR NONE, and I will spread the word like the gospel!

Now, we are going to have to listen to "#9" from the White Album so we can twitch along with the song when the Fab Faux do it in October!!! It's time to concentrate on my essay's for Friday! Only 3 weeks left of this class!! In September I will torture myself further with English 102!! Oh, I forgot....A friend of mine who was at the show knew of at least 2 country clubs in the Northeast Phila. area who bought up blocks of tickets.I wonder if one of them was the man at the box office .....

OOH..one more thing... This may sound trivial but I watched Frank Agnello and my son talking about sitars and music, and I had this really proud moment...as a mother. You know what I mean TLP.... It feels really good for me to see how my children have "turned out." That may sound weird, but it feels good. Thank you Frank and Brian for that.....
