Paul, Come To Australia
-
Yeah was real suprised to see the news of Neil playing there. I think he's almost the first act they've had since 2004 that I've heard of Wanna see him, but don't think I'll be able to swing a ticket in time
-
I saw Neil Young quite a few years ago, I really didn't know much about him at the time but went with a few friends who invited me and I was quite surprised at how good he was, it was a excellent concert. Do you know who else will be in the lineup for BDO?

At the moment, the others playing that we know of are My Morning Jacket, The Ting Tings, and Arctic Monkeys. The full lineup is announced on the 30th of September

Did everyone see the great news today? Neil Young is coming in January ! He is headlining Big Day Out and doing a three-city tour with My Morning Jacket.
Neil Young? Wow! My mum will be happy to hear that!!

Thought I better put this post up where it belongs, at the top. So Paul if you;re out there please put Australia at the top of your touring list cause We Love You. Are any of you Brisbanites going to the Youngcare charity concert?? I just love Bernard Fanning. Casey Chambers will also be playing and a surprise guest (Who I'm hoping will be Paul ). I've been to a few concerts of Bernard's (and Powderfinger) concerts now and absolutely adore him (not as much as Paul though) and he also is a Beatles fan. See ya later.

Woo, Morrissey is touring in January!! He's playing 3 shows in NZ and Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane and Sydney. Yay!

Yep, good to see. I'd go if I had some spare $$. At least Cheap Trick and Billy Joel are coming up in the meantime
-
Apparently The Who are playing at the Melbourne Greand Prix in March 2009? Which puts them in strong contention for V Festival headliners, which is cool.
-
Oh my god, and Leonard Cohen just announced a tour in January. January is going to be one packed month! I'll see more bands in that one month than I saw in this whole year combined!!
-

If Mc Cartney comes to Australia, i hope he comes to Tasmania
-
Yeah I hope he comes to Tassie too, in fact anywhere in Australia would be fantastic. Anyone going to the Who concerts?

....I really doubt he would. Cassandra: Nope. I'm spending way too much money on concerts at the moment.

Sydney's Daily Telegraph reports today tours of Australia by Madonna, Neil Diamond, and PAUL MCCARTNEY have been put on hold or scrapped owing to the weak AUD... Typical - and yet somehow not a surprise...letdown after bloody letdown...
-
I am getting just a little bit sick and tired of Paul, to be honest. OH YEAH I AM DYING TO GET TO OZ, CAN'T WAIT! A few months later: OH SHIT THE ECONOMY IS BAD I WON'T GET 15 MILLION DOLLARS SORRY NO TOUR UNTIL I CAN GET THAT MUCH MONEY
