Get your glitter balls ready.......
My favourite song from my school disco back in the 70's.......cor, Marie-Claire........no Moggy put them away......
......this is what Moggy's really into.......all those 70's silk disco shirts.......
-
Hi David.......even though i got into Bowie in a big way in the early 70s ( still am today) i never liked roxy music or brian ferry. You are right about his son.....hes a absolute disgrace. Just goes to show what a good job Maccas done , bringing them up without spoiling them. DISCO.........i have never liked disco until recently ( theres good in every genre) With listening to more and more soul/ northern soul, sometimes they overlap. Plus Craig Charles plays the odd one.....love the brass on this
Linda clifford who worked with Curtis Mayfield Plus also weller did a covers album a few years ago and he shows what good songs they are , underneath the production I am turning into Disco Stu -
Moggy Bowie.....now we're talking......
There's about another 300 songs I would post........after The Beatles the best and most innovative musician. -
I agree, Susy. The video makes you feel good. Thanks also to you, moggy. The sound reminds me a little bit of an album of Paul Simon in the 80s. I can´t remember the title, though...
The Arctic Monkeys also make me smile. Their first album was so successful - I only listen to that kind of musik when I´m in that mood, but they definitively have got a great sense for the spirit of the time (?Zeitgeist in German).

There's about another 300 songs I would post........after The Beatles the best and most innovative musician.Yeah hes by far one of the most talented musicians whos ever drawn breath. 12 classic lps from space oddity to scary monsters is a fair track record ( i did not count pin ups. He had a wobble in the 80s , when he lost the plot , but has made some excellent lps since......heathen probably being the best. I always thought that if i ever met weller the only musician we would disagree on would be Bowie........but at the age of 49 Wellers finally seen the light. Bowie songs/ vids ....where do i start ?
STOP !Seems a decent bloke too

Sorry, I haven´t introduced myself. My name is Dagmar, I´m 45 years old (can´t believe it...), I´m married and we have got two sons. I have been a Beatles fan for 30 years now. Their music goes right to my heart and I am so glad, that Paul still writes music. Of course I also listen to other music.
-
I didn´t know that, moggy! Thanks. I´ve still got most of Bowies LPs. I like his voice and the spacey music.
