Well, FINALLY, here's a new song of mine, original song, not cover or "duet", you know... It's about what you really have in life is yourself and that's what you carry on with really for worse or for better. Sometimes I think the lyrics are fantastic, sometimes I think they don't make sense. I'm finishing 2 songs more written by me. They both have lots of instruments and are very long, so when recording this I wanted to do the oppossite and make it as simple as I could. It's only 2 guitar strings (stratocaster unplugged, not acoustic) and vocals (well, and one string more for the little solo) You've Got Yourself

Haunting. Like something you'd hear in the soundtrack for a David Lynch film.

Someones put this up on the weller forum http://www.jacatu.de/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=7850 Makes you proud to be British. I must admit on a couple of occasions i went into bolton town centre on hot days when it was busy, and it was like being on the set of the hammer house of horrors. Manchester is good though.
Spain looks more like Sweden than to Britain then... It still makes me want to go to Sweden . Anyway there is good and bad wherever you go, there all kinds of places here.
The women i saw in Barcelona were like the city.....beautiful.

It should be because you have the beauty inside of you, and you see it everywhere, here there are women of all kinds... actually if some weren't ugly, none could be pretty...

I'm gonna see a Beatle live later this year!! Yeah seeing Paul for the first time. A few years ago I would have been super excited already, and I am but in reality it's gonna set in slowly as December approaches.. That and I have just been so busy with work and personal stuff for it to really sink in. But yeah really should be great. Haven't been to the O2 for a gig yet so it surely is a good way to start.
Very cool. I'm going to one of his shows too, but not in London. I haven't been to a Paul concert since 2004. About time I see him again!

Great then. I wrote it long time ago, when I was 20.

my fav singer has a new album... and I never liked her because of that, but she's looking hotter than ever Vanessa Amorosi-This is Who I am
same song live, and Vanessa is always better live! -
The new song is pretty cool. Good live performance.
-
vanessa has been #1 single now in Australia... this is her doing live River Deep Mountain High... it sure will be Deep and High
I like the new song from Bon Jovi we weren't born to follow -
I saw here Status Quo in September, I had great memories of that night. I'm a ballad fan.. anyway they played no ballad and virtually all the songs non-stop, one after another, terrific. I wore a McCartney T-shirt and in the cue after appeared a guy wearing a Lennon T-shirt, so it was easy to talk... now there are the great videos, so many highlights, but this is a very chorused for the people Whatever you want (the great thing of this videos is that the audio is not good, but you can hear the people a lot more like if you were there ) I love how we people get mad with the riff
it seems the whole show's online down down with rossi doing the usual show... rocking all over the world (and we like it, we like it, we like it...) concert's opening with the legendary Caroline their usual end Whola Lotta Shaking Going on/Rock and Roll Music/Bye Bye Johnny with Rossi eating candy throwed by the audience and asking for more and this song is so good live yet unknown, Big fat mama (Say you need me!), it's kind of their Bohemian Rhapsody for their style... -
Three weeks till I see Macca. Time really flies. How's everyone doing? I'm well. Busy but these last weeks have been pretty good. Went up to London twice, once for work and once to meet friends. Off to see 'Phantom of the Opera' there as well next week with people from work. Gonna see some live music this weekend too- my musician friend from work invited me to see him play live on Saturday. Should be good.

if you like Scary Movie and all that... yesterday I saw "Spanish Movie" a parody of the most famous Spanish movies of all these years... "The Others", Almodovar's Volver... Pan's Labyrinth, Bardem oscar's appeareance in No Country for Old Men etc with surreal appeareances like Leslie Nielsen, director Amenabar, etc
the actress that does the role of Penelope Cruz in Volver here is kind of more like Linsey Dawn Mckenzie... -

Thanks. It's gonna be great hearing these songs live. Here is Paul apparently talking German:
I can't say that I heard any German, but I think he said "The Reeperbahn? Not tonight." But I could be wrong.
