didnt that band 'mgmt' or whatever their called support him recently? my wife likes them so it would be nice if it was them!
Yeah they supported him in Boston....I was gutted I couldnt go to that one because I was more eager to go for them than Paul, The Script were crap. If he is having support acts which I hope he is, I would prefer he had local talent, there are a few great Scottish bands out there
Seen The Script when they supported u2 in dublin. As they were a local band they got a great reception. My wife thought they were good I cant comment I was at the bar drinking the black stuff. Nutini would be a good shout or U2
-
Everybody likes the Script over here they are ok, I think. But they are hardly as good as Paul McCartney!

Sounds ideal then We hardly want anybody stealing the show - as if anybody could .. Martin

I love MGMT, but that wouldn't happen, so the Script or Nutini would still be good. It seems that my tickets are Block AA7, Row Z, Seat 14, and Block BB7, Row BB, Seat 13. So that means we're totally seperate, right? That's strange.

If you bought through the main site CrowdSurge agency they have excellent customer services. You can contact them via e-mail: tickets@crowdsurge.com give them reference numbers from your purchase, name etc so they can raise your details to resolve your problem. Martin

Since I'm going to Scotland all by myself, is there anyone up for meeting the night before and have a pint together? I'd love to meet Macca fans from all over the place (I'm from Holland myself).
I'm sure there are lots more people travelling to Glasgow, would be good to organise something. We should try to do organise a meet up nearer the time! I'd be up for that!

During the Good Evening Europe Tour in Germany, they sold "Hot Seats" for EUR 189, these were in Row 1-5. Only the people in the first five rows were allowed to walk to the stage. I hope they will sell these Hot Seats again this tour.

I just got a few of the £85 seats. P1 row E seats 7, 8 and 9! Happy times. should get a decent view of the stage too! I can now take my girlfriends Macca concert virginity! haha Josh
Congrats Josh - pleased for you after you weren't able to make it to the O2 gig. I hope you and your girlfriend have a great time! I'm off to the Hyde Park gig! (Three times in 2 years - my friends do think I'm a bit sad! )

Thanks Now if someone could give me a hand trying to find a cheap way to get up there.... lol Seriously, any ideas about cheap train fares and stuff are more than welcome cos it seems its gonna cost a fortune to get up there Sadly me getting tickets to this show is turning out to be a bit of a bad idea money wise... tut Josh

cheap train tickets aint available yet. you have to wait untill 2/ 3 months before to get them. im pretty sure it will be possible as that is how im getting up..going from york or darlington. i will let you know when they are onsale ,just dont panic. however it will be very cruel if our paul announces another gig in the north of england like liverpool or manchester. going on past history im sure it will be possible to travel up to glasgow and back for no more than £30/£40 quid return if you take advantage of the cheap singles [but each trip MUST be pre booked]

Great, thanks for the info! if you could please please keep me posted on this cos money is very tight, and i really didnt expect it to cost so much to get up there! Hopefully i'll go to about that price, which is reasonalbe, but pushing £200 for 2 returns...i just cant do that. Should've checked first, but oh well, damn my impulsivness! lol EDIT: you're right, just out of interest i looked for tickets to Glasgow from Doncaster for in 2 months from now, and and its coming up at £58 for 2 returns. Thats MUCH better! So i'll just hold on til a couple of months b4 the gig Josh

If you can get over to Manchester, Megabus run to Glasgow: http://www.megabus.com/uk Although they don't seem to be booking that far ahead yet a test quote for two people out one day back the next came to around £38.00 for both passengers. (fares vary according to time of day and how far ahead you book) That may leave enough money to book a room for after the concert, or you could do what I did after U2 in London head for the coach station and sleep on the floor Worth having a play with their web-site anyway Martin

You should try Virgin Trains, they sell cheap tickets round about 12 weeks before the travel date. I usually do this when going to beatle week ,and can get a return ticket from glasgow to liverpool for around £30. Sometimes the cheaper tickets don't go on sale until about 8-10 weeks. Keep checking their website, or even better to into a main train station, and the staff can search for you. Megatrain also does really cheap bus and train tickets , but the cities they offer are limited. Have a look on their website, and see if they go to a city near you, then you'd just need to buy an additional single ticket to Barnsley. I'm consider using this for my next trip to liverpool, will buy ticket from glasgow to preston from the site, then get a single from preston to liverpool. Good luck!

- Well, at least he's playing in YOUR country Non-UK'ers/Irish also have to pay for a plane ticket and a hotel. But I do not mind at all. And if he does make it to the mainland, well, I just have to go see him again. Bummer.... Jolanda

yes but 20 years it has been sinse he is playing in Scotland. Irish people have to get a plane, unless they get the ferry and some Uk'ers from down South may also have to get a plane. I can get a bus which takes under an hour, but this would be the easiest trip I have done. I aint even going

Bummer.... didnt he play a gig in holland quite recently? infact from where i live in england it is much much cheaper and quicker to get to 'amsterdam' than to get to 'wales, scotland and london'! travelling around the UK can be mega expensive! woohoo! After only being able to get 2 rubbish seats, in separate blocks in the fan club presale, got 2 great ones today from Ticketsoup. Block aa6, row G. Will be selling the one I had to a friend who doesn't mind sitting on his own. What a stressful week, can finally stop dreaming about trying to get tickets, and look forward to the gig!
