Good to hear Lauren was good live. She was quite shy when I saw her with Paul Weller, but understandable given it wasn't her gig. She's got a great voice and I love her EP. I'll definitely look out for her album this summer. I posted some more Beth Rowley on the previous page for you by the way.

I like Lee Ann Rimes. She sounds great and man she looks good

I haven't heard from Leann in years, Kapoo. What's she up to these days? I remember "How Do I Live" from the 1990s -

I have no clue I haven't actually listened to much of her stuff. She did something with Joss Stone a year or 2 ago that sounded good. and I heard her do the star spangeled banner one time and I was impressed. but mainly I just think she's hot. I really don't listen to any female singers, don't know why.. Gwen Stafani may be the one I've actally listend to the most. she's pretty hot too no doubt

At least you're honest, Kapoo! Joss Stone sings on Ringo's new album Y Not - track called "Who's Your Daddy?". I read one review who said it was a bit creepy, young girl singing and a 69-year-old Ringo echoing back "Who's Your Daddy". See what they mean, it's quite funny.
Good rocker though. And Joss sounds as good as usual. -

I like this by Gwen The real thing
Features Bernard Sumner and Hooky , and ends up sounding like New Order with Madonna ....which is good in my book Birthday......thanks for the Beth tracks. I noticed that Lauren looked very shy and nervous with Weller , but the second the song started it seemed to dissapear -

Glad you enjoyed Lauren's gig. Judging from her setlist, what kind of stuff can we expect on her debut album? More songs like the ones on her EP, or a mix of originals and standards. All good soul music, no doubt.

She didnt do any covers as i know of. The stuff was from the ep ( which i havnt got yet....i was hoping she would be selling them ) and similar. She had a guitarist and drummer with her, and she still called it a accostic tour, so i assume the lp will have a full band on.
I mentioned on another post about her touching a electric bulb in her vid....well, she spilt water on her electric keyboard......someone needs to have a word with that girl There was only about 15-20 there which is a shame , but you would not have got many more in anyway. Its good to see artists learning to perform and build up a following the hard way instead of those wasters on x factor. This was typical of the night ( she NEARLY forgot her lemon shaker ) found this too
