Great to hear such happy postive reviews coming in. I've placed a speeed dial link into the first post of this thread here: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?p=2270197#2270197 This thread will fairly scamper along over the next couple of days and that link should help you locate the start of the overnight reports again. Tsss. 2 big errors in that article, first the age, but since it was his b-day last Fri, that's ok Second, he did NOT play Got To Get You... Instead he played Drive My Car. Have to check the older setlists, is this the first time he played it during the Up And Coming tour?

brilliant gig - i was 11th row in AA7 - great view and lots of tears - the technical hitch at the start was great, some decent unplanned banter and the glasgow crowd loved MACCA! can't wait until hyde park

I have no idea. There were some guys running around but he didn't give us any details.

Last night was one of the best nights of my life. He was amazing, and can't believe we got to stand right up at the barrier (thanks Jolanda for letting us know it was ok for us to stand!) I see the put a couple of chairs behind me so no one else could come up to the barrier, so think was only the first couple of rows who were standing. He was in great form, I was a bit worried when I seen the footage of the Isle of Wight gig, his voice wasn't the best on some of the songs, but last night, everything was perfect from start to finish. From the first song the whole crowd were on their feet. One of the highlights for me was getting my red loveheart Paul McCartney cushion on the big screen behind the band a few times, and at the end of Hey Jude it appeared as a big close up for what it seemed like for ages. What a night, my back was breaking, feet and legs were killing me, but it was all worth it, and i'd do it again tonight. I said I wasn't going to take many photos, but I got a bit snap happy, I will post them on facebook. Thanks Paul for the best night ever, and please come back to Scotland soon!!

Feet and legs were def killing me as well. But I didn't care at all!!! We were planning on walking back to the city but we decided to take a cab instead. No way we would have made it, lol.

If he does, I'll be back too!!

Brillant! Words cannot describe how good it was. The whole place was jumping from the very start, and Paul was faultless. After all the worry over the crowd figure, everyone got it wrong, it was near capacity. He is the best.

Have just got a tad emotional watching the MOK links, thank you so much for posting. Paul's voice was in fine fettle and the crowd seemed amazing. Brilliant, so looking forward to Cardiff though not sure we will get MOK.. Just need tickets to COME!!!

Absoloutely fantastic last night!! Best of Paul's gigs I've seen ( yes better than Liverpool 2003).Didn't have the best view as we were seated to the side of the pitch...but could see the stage & screens ok..and the crowd in our section were obviously real fans, all up on their feet from the start singing & dancing. I'm so glad I was there rather than the tiered seats where it looked as though people were sitting for quite a while. It was my 9 year old son's first ever concert..before we went he couldn't really understand why you wouldn't just stay at home and listen to a cd. Last night he totally got it and had an amazing time..poor kids had to go to school this morning!! Great crowd so hopefully Paul won't leave it another 20 years before coming back to Scotland lol

I did the Edinburgh Moonwalk last night - the full 26.2 miles and spent the first hour after it in the medical tent : Impossible to walk right now but I'll be there
I did the Moonwalk too. Was all worth it though, wasn't it? I forgot all about my sore legs and feet when Macca came on! I'm suffering today though!
-
Well done to the moonwalkers...I did it last year, not sure I'd have wanted to do it before a Macca gig!!
-
I'm glad you all had fun
