Paul playing ventriloquist with the Alien! And James yelling "Daddy, Daddy!" to get it back!
P.S. That was Geoff Emerick there too.

For the 'Hank Marvin' sequence, did Paul play/mime the guitar the wrong way round (for Paul) or did he play it his natural way and they flipped the image? Anyone know?

Hank Marvin? Do you mean Buddy Holly? He had to have just mimed it right handed. If he had held that right-handed Fender left-handed and they flipped the image, the pick guard would be on the top instead of the bottom! I think Paul is talented enough to pretend to play right-handed.
P.S. I also doubt very seriously they would have gone to all the trouble to give him a left-handed Fender and flip the image. This video was complicated enough to film and put together!

Oh, okay then, Buddy Holly. I always thought it was Hank Marvin. I'm not sure Paul playing a left handed Fender and flipping it would be that complicated but I think you're right, I think miming on a right handed Fender was probably an easier option.

Just been checking a few websites / pages like this one and they all seem to be listing the character as being Hank Marvin.

I always thought it was Buddy Holly. I don't even know who Hank Marvin is. But I just read that Ken Womack thought it was Buddy: (and I see Hank Marvin was a guitarist for the Shadows - why would Paul not say it was Buddy? Very odd.)

I think its fair to say that Hank himself modeled himself, visually at least, on Buddy Holly , so Paul taking off Hank taking off Buddy is probably what happened.

Clickable link is made by pasting link into the dialogue box that comes up when you click on the icon that looks like a chain link.

Darrel...Really enjoyed the behind the scenes footage and the Hope for the Future bit that was some fun at the end there. Curious about the Orchestral bit, it looked like it is something for Avatar when it finally comes out...
These are the best bits in my humble opinion, seeing Paul working his magic in the studio. Always wish there were more of them, thanks for sharing them with us.

Waterfalls

They did a great job with Waterfalls it’s much clearer...but what’s up with the birds and then goat and dog and then the falling over a metal bucket? Note to self, don’t turn the light off and then walk in a dark room! I had to wind that back a few times.

Really enjoyed the My Carnival video, only saw parts of that one and this was so much better...
One of my favorite videos was the Fireman studio video.
