Orson Welles took the Falstaff character from Richard II, Henry IV part 1, Henry IV part 2, Henry V and The Merry Wives of Windsor and made his own movie. Maybe it does help if you're familiar with the plays, but even if you're not, it's a great story that is beautifully directed, acted and written.
We're always told that Citizen Kane is his best work, and just like Gone With the Wind and Casablanca, it's one of the greatest films ever made, but Chimes At Midnight is just as amazing.

The colors red and blue did not show up (another website glitch?) But are the bolded ones those you like?
If so, does that mean you don’t like A Hard Day’s Night?!
-
So we can't even do colors anymore?

They are showing up when I quote you, right now as I am writing. Weird.

What about italics, bold and underline? Will those show up?

Well this is weird. In the forum itself, colors don't show up. Italics and bold do, but not underline. But when I click "quote" to reply, in the quoted portion I see the colors and all the formatting. But I bet I won't see them when I actually post this. As an additional test I will make the last word of this sentence green. Here Goes.

Okay, in the post I just did, now all the formatting and colors seem to work. I'm baffled.

That's the same thing that happens when you embed a youtube link. It usually shows up in the quote.
Ah well...at least now we can say Dick Cavett with no censor.

The formatting, videos and pictures all show up during the 30 minute editing session - the time period when you can edit your posts. Once that session has expired, all of those elements are being discarded. My guess is, when they tested it, they looked at their test posts only during that first 30 minutes and thought everything was ok. They never saw what the garbage collector was doing after each session expired because they never double checked it later.

It seems like they didn't check or try to find a thread either.

The pictures/photos don’t disappear. And the videos must be copied and pasted as a link and show up in blue. The formatting (colors, italics, etc) does disappear.

I guess this forum could use some further tweaks. Anyways, I saw all those movies that I emboldened on my list quote, not all of them I liked, some were terrible.

Great to hear. I'm looking forward to seeing it. Speaking of Citizen Kane ... yawn. Tried it twice and both times fell asleep. I mentioned this to an important academic once, wondering why I couldn't see the greatness in it. "BECAUSE IT'S BORING!", she replied. (hehe).

Oblivion was a great movie. I recommend it.

You can see this video? I doubt it since I'm convinced they're getting deleted when the editing session expires.

Boring is in the eye of the beholder. The most boring movie I ever saw was a CG bad guy destroying a CG city before the CG good guy confronted him and they used their super CG powers to have a common fist fight.

No, because you didn’t copy and paste it. Did you try to put it in the URL spot in the box? That could be the problem.
i just went to YouTube and with an iPad there are 3 dots at the top right where you click on Copy Link:
Ta Da!
If you try to copy the link from the browser, you get a non-clickable link:

Now I can watch your “fainting goats” video, but I bet it will disappear later!
There appears to be no way to use the URL box to post a video. You have to copy and paste like I did.
