Happy Easter 2017! ð?°ð???â?¡ï¸ð?£ I found this quote, but could not find author: "May the Light of Christ Illuminate the Soul, Mind and the Will with sanctifying Grace." Surely if we are Illuminated in our Hearts, we can do no harm to others. We are here to give, to help, not to take from others.

SusyLuvsPaul:
I feel guilty that I get so bored of hearing about Jesus. I'm in the Bible Belt and you just can't escape it. Oh and "The Rapture"...sounds so outlandish and out there, to me, I can't take all that literally. Have to hear about that a lot too. And the "End Times." And how current events are playing out to fit in with that theory, etc. I sort of doubt that.
Many people follow Jesus for the forgiveness of sins aspect. (They hang their hats on self salvation). But, are not diligent in doing what he therefore asked them to do. Which is, to promote and project Love and Peace and Understanding as much as possible. If you were born on a remote island and never heard of Jesus and tried to do these good things, you would be doing exactly what Jesus wanted you to do, whether you had ever heard of him or not. People who are trying to promote and project Love and Peace and Understanding as much as possible are doing The Will of Thee God that raised Jesus from the dead. (Whether They Know It...Or Not) "Listen To The One's Who Sing Of Love...Everywhere Love Is Around, Around" ~ The Moody Blues

Move to China. It will sneak up on you. I didn't even know it was Easter until I read about it online.

Wishing everyone a very HAPPY EASTER!!!
Watched Jesus Christ, Superstar with John Legend as Jesus and Alice Cooper as King Herod. A very interesting interpretation...

HOPE EVERYONE HAD A GREAT ONE!!! Yes, that was great to watch last night. I saw it when it first came out in the 70's. There were a few scriptural and perceptual glitches, but it was very good!!!

I think this is so true, SurSteven. Nice synopsis.

Thank you, Fan4! My observations are based on the actual original message of Jesus and the people who understood what he was trying to say. The old testament is about trying to conquer the world philosophy of self oriented survivalism with rules and regulations, and the new testament is all about doing it with higher objective education and Love and Peaceful Peace. The words "Angel of God" actually mean "Messengers of Love" And, it is absolutely no coincidence that Life would send us such an incredible number of messengers of Love over the years after Oppenheimer's death machine was invented in the mid 40's.

Not familiar with the philosophy of the last part starting with: The words "Angel of God ... So, after the Holocaust, messengers of love appeared. I'll go along with that.

Definitions certainly vary over time as you know... "Sick" is an example lol
ANGEL...ORIGIN
Old Englishengel, ultimately via ecclesiastical Latin from Greekangelos**‘messenger’**; superseded in Middle English by forms from Old Frenchangele.
I John 4 : 5-8
5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
