Greenville, SC- Bon Secours Wellness Arena- 5/30/19- CONFIRMED
-
My review is that he sounded pretty good except for MIA, which we all know already has been a struggle for him for quite awhile. He did the 3 ES songs Fuh You, Come On To Me and Who Cares. Of course tons of people around us obviously had never heard them, but Jennifer and I sang along! Paul drank water twice, very quickly and no big deal was made like the first time with the drum roll! Paul was relaxed and in good spirits. Told the same jokes, but in person this time it didn’t bother me. All the first-timers ate it up! Bought a $40 program and a $45 black t-shirt with all the tour dates on the back. Very thin and cheaply made. Also, got a large which normally fits fine. This was long but too narrow. Will have to either not wear it or “just” lose 20 lbs. (which I really need to do!)

This was the funniest thing. They had this huge sign on the arena screens:
So I texted him “We made it here from Atlanta in one piece! Loved you since 1964!”
They never showed any texts on the screen! So today we called the number and first a woman says “You have reached the voice mail box of...” Then the man himself says “Paul McCartney. Okay, thank you.” Then it hangs up on you!

Thanks for the review & pics, Nancy. That 'text me' sign is too funny!! I'm gonna try it!
is it me or does there seem to be a dearth of excitement for this tour? not many soundcheck reports/setlists, not many reviews/setlists, not many pics/videos/periscopes, not many limo watches....... and I keep thinking this might be his last tour, others must be thinking that too, seems like there should be more incoming, more of a record.
seems kinda quiet in here!

Yes, thanks for the report Nancy.
Yes, you are correct sunspark. We even used to have a listening party with someone reporting each song as he was singing it. Not so much now that we all know the setlist.

The back of his jacket is shown briefly in this video.
edit to add: jacket at 1:54
Did I just copy & paste the video url & it AUTOMATICALLY turned into a clickable link??? YAY & thank you. Now if the youtube button could be worked on. Maybe I should try it. Let's see if it still disappears after an hour or so.

Quote..."The back of his jacket is shown briefly in this video". ...Thank you...yea, definitely a different style jacket from previous dates on this tour.

Thanks, I missed seeing the back from where we were on the right, 1st level, row 4 (as you face the stage)
The link is there, but when I quote you an empty box that says IFRAME is there below your post that contains the link.

Yeah, the button that says youtube still doesn't work correctly. That was the iframe box you saw. BUT links show up as clickable automatically now! Whomever fixed that...THANKS!

Testing it. Couldn’t get it to work using You Tube icon or simply pasting it.
Had to use clip above:
(this is Live and Let Die from the 30th)

What I find interesting from that side view footage is just how far back Paul, Abe and Wix are from the front of the stage. Let alone how far back they are from the front row. I can quite appreciate why so many in the audience spend more time looking at the screens than they do at the performers on the stage.

That's what I said...that the youtube button or icon still does not work but just pasting a link works for me on a pc.

Wait a minute, you were able to just copy and paste that link without using the above clip icon?! I couldn’t, but I’m using an iPad.
