Most/Least Listened to McCartney Albums (Solo)
-
Most listened to:
RAM (and I think it's still his best solo effort).
FLOWERS IN THE DIRT
BAND ON THE RUN
Least:
Press, New, Egypt Station. I think, sadly, that McCartney 3 will gather dust too. The albums from London Town to McCartney 2 I've not played for ages either.

My problem is, with the advent of cable TV, then satellite TV, Netflix etc. and the Internet, I don't play music like I used to. There are some of Paul's albums I haven't listened to since they came out! I have all the Archive ones, so have listened to them when they were re-released, but ones like PTP, Chaos, MAF...nope.
I've been playing Beatles albums off Amazon Music for my 5 mos. old granddaughter-she loves them! Will have to take over my laptop where I have all the McCartney Archive albums downloaded and play her those!Yes, it BOR is perfect, I think I played it so much from about 1978 (borrowed my sister's 8 track of BOR) to about 1999-2000 (when an anniversary edition came out) that I moved on to other albums. I probably last played BOR all the way through about 5 years ago. But okay, maybe I need to get it back in my rotation (it is a perfect McCartney album).

I tend to listen to a lot of artists so perhaps out of every twenty albums played, only one will be Paul / Wings / Beatles related. So even my most played album wouldn't be played a lot. Usually each new album (by any other artist) gets played to death during the first week and then those plays will trail off depending on how much I am enjoying the album.
As for Paul'sd albums, in recent years, I wouldsay that McCartney III and New have been the most played, with Egypt Station and Memoory Almost Full the least played. I occasionally dip back into the 'distant past' and play Ram or Band On The Run, but great albums that they are, they are way too over familiar now to sustain too many plays. Other albums that I seldom play (mainly because I don't think they're much good) include Pipes of Peace and Off the Ground.
