Jacopo88:
No earthquake in Rome. But Mr. D'Alessandro, italian Paul's manager, has confirmed that negotiations for Paul coming back to Italy are almost done. Paul should have to play in Florence next September. Verona Arena is a strong rumor too. Months ago Mr D'Alessandro told that Paul really wanted to play Neaples Plebiscito Square, but to play in such a public place you need the authorization from the Mayor and now there's the election in Naples, so Naples concert is really uncertain. I read the last news today and my feeling is that: Paul will play at least one concert in Italy in September (and the news said it is part of a Macca Tour in the fall). If they can arrange only one concert, it will be in Florence. The second could be Verona Arena. However, Macca's manager told the announcement is going to be made in the next days.
I do hope you're right.

Paul was asked to play San Siro Milan on June 2010, but the man declined because in Milan there's a rule that forces performers in the stadium not to exceed a certain timing and a certain decibel limit. The limit is very low (lower than a common traffic jam in the city, so the rule is very stupid) so Paul declared he could not play with limit to his sound. Bruce Springsteen's manager is currently under criminal trial because Burce esceeded his timing and decibel limit in 2008. So now everything appears as Paul will perform in Florence and maybe in Verona Arena and Naples too. Verona Arena can hold 22 000 people.

Dear Paul McCartney & dot com: I have been watching your tour schedule(s) over the last few year and have noticed something missing. A Seattle/Tacoma date. I was born into a pre-Beatles world in May 1960. At the tender age of 4, I asked my Mom to buy the "Meet the Beatles" album for me in 1964. She said NO. I grew up on Beatles songs as a child and begged my parents to take me to The Beatles show in Seattle when I was about 5 or 6. They said NO. I did not ask my parents again about going to any concert until the George Harrison tour in 1974. I begged and pleaded and came up with every good reason I should go - but they said NO, I was too young to go on my own. In 1976, I asked for permission to go to your "Wings Over the U.S." tour when it came to the Kingdome. My parents still said NO. I didn't argue at all. They asked me why and I said I was going anyway. They thought it over and finally said YES I could go. That was an incredible show and was one of the best ever sounding shows held at the Kingdome. Unfortunately, you did not come back to Seattle until 1990 but I was there, too. My daughter was born in 1997 and grew up listening mainly to the Yellow Submarine album (over and over again) until finally allowing me to play other Beatles albums for her. She was such a big Beatles fan that when you announced the 2002 tour stop in the Tacoma Dome, I decided to take her (because who knew how long it would be before you came back to the Seattle/Tacoma area). She loved it and so did I. The next year she came across an ad for Ringo's 2003 All Star Tour and she told me "we have to go see Ringo". And we did. You also came back Seattle Key Arena in 2005 and we were there again. I have seen all 4 appearances you have made in Seattle and my daughter has now seen you twice. We have both seen Ringo 3 times. Long story short, I am respectfully requesting a Seattle/Tacoma stop on your current tour. Please don't say NO. I know of at LEAST two fans who will buy tickets for this show.

San Diego! Sucks that we have to go to LA or Orange County on each tour. San Diego is a huge market, you can do it Paul!
-
Albuquerque, New Mexico USA!! We always have to go to Denver or Phoenix for shows like this. And they are 450 miles away!
