I've just read at wiki that Abe once toured with Seal. Does anyone now this to be true?

Yes! I've read that Abe played not only with Seal, but also with Steve Vai, Sting, Eric Clapton, Steve Winwood, Mylene Farmer.. And as a studio drummer he played with Ringo Starr, Hanson, Natalie Cole, Fiona Apple, Lady Gaga, Will Smith, Jewel, Shakira and icons like BB King and Les Paul, among many others.. Isn't that awesome? Abe is an amazing musician and so kind too!

Abe Laboriel Jr. proves you don?t have to rock in order to groove: http://bit.ly/13vCY7m (Article by Josh Gill)

I have seen the footage of him with Clapton.

showin some LOVE for Abe....

I just bought Clapton's Old Sock covers album, and in addition to Paul guesting on "All Of Me" I was quite pleased to see in the liner notes that Abe played drums. I didn't check to see how many songs he was on, but a nice surprise considering Abe is supposedly working on his own solo album these days.

Cool! I didn't realize that it was a covers album, by the way. I hope Clapton isn't turning into a Strat-carrying Rod Stewart.

I haven't listened to it yet, but the cover of "All Of Me" he does with Paul has more juice than anything Stewart could ever think of, and it leaves anything on KOTB in the dust. I may change my opinion once I've listened to the whole album, mind you!

Well, I'll be darned... ...my bf and I are watching a DVD k.d. lang: live by request -- and guess who's killin' it on drums???

Love this pic!
Anyone know whose FB account this picture was posted to? It was taken from my Flickr account http://www.flickr.com/photos/slobass/8758608212/ without permission.

I've deleted the photo from my post. And, for the record, I did not obtain the photo from anyone's tumblr account. I don't even know what the heck it is. I would suggest that if people wish to keep files private -- if it's posted anywhere on the 'net -- it will most assuredly turn up on another site sooner or later.

Here's an awesome photo:

I assume this is directed to me. So, I'll respond by saying I never mentioned tumblr. However, at least with tumblr there the source of the photo is cited and credit is given. Not so with someone taking it from Flickr and uploading it to FB. In fact, there are other accounts with better looking shots that were already posted to FB. Also, my intent is not to keep anything private but to respect the copyright and credit the source of the picture.

Hundreds of photos are posted here, and this is rarely an issue. Not to mention that no forum guidelines have, apparently, been violated. The URL of any photo posted here using this site's html coding can simply be accessed via its "properties." So, there's your "credit." Also, most fan-photos are taken without press credentials, such as a "photo pass," and, yet, they are allowed -- make that, encouraged -- to be shared here. The owner has claimed credit for the photo at-issue, so there's really nothing more to discuss.

Which is why I asked if anyone knows whose facebook account the image was posted to as the information located in its "properties" was not mine or authorized by me. And you are correct, the owner has claimed credit for the photo at-issue, so there's really nothing more to discuss.

Was lucky enough to have met Abe here in Memphis before Paul's show. I think he liked being recognized. Here are a couple of pics. http://i310.photobucket.com/albums/kk417/hofner66/abe2.jpg http://i310.photobucket.com/albums/kk417/hofner66/abe1.jpg
