"Triplets Love Paul" with Paul!
-
Hi TLP, I saw the video of your children with Paul on here recently - great video, what a wonderful night for them - and you, the proud Mum. They'll never forget that, I'm sure. They looked so sweet in their Sgt Pepper suits. Our youngest has started singing along to Wingsspan lately, particularly loves the "hands across the water" bit in Uncle Albert. I was going to show my wife the video on You Tube today, but we couldn't find the video on You Tube any more - has it been taken down? It was a great clip. Hope you and the family are well.
-
WHERE IS THE VIDEO??????? OMG...it says "this video has been removed by user"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We gotta get it back!!!!!!
-
We still have this....6:55

I've been communicating with the mum of Brody on FB. She wasn't there that night. Dad took Brody to the concert. His 7th birthday party was Elton themed and she's posted some video on FB of him singing more Elton songs. These stars do make these kids feel so special when they do these things for them. Hope Joe continues to stay in good health.

Hi Birthday, It was an amazing night for the triplets! To this day, they describe that night as the happiest of their lives!!! There are no words to describe how thrilled I was to have been there to see their dream come true...it was beyond overwhelming...tears of joy!!! Thanks so much for saying that they looked sweet, very kind of you! You must be loving that your nine year-old son is singing along with Wingspan! It's so cute, isn't it?! I LOVE to see this with the little ones...it's sooooo sweet! The video...Apparently it was removed by the uploader on 22 April. I do not know the uploader. I really do not know why he/she chose to remove the video at this time. It had been on YouTube since 2007. Perhaps the uploader simply no longer wished to host it on their channel? Hopefully the video will resurface in the future. I thought the clip was wonderful because it gave those that were not there that night the chance to see the kindness and generosity of Paul's heart. He really allowed those of us that were there to see a very gentle, vulnerable side of himself that night...he was AMAZING!!! I hope you and your family are well. Will they be seeing Paul with you? Thanks again for your kind words...very nice!

(((((Mary))))) I am so sorry that the video has been removed. When someone wrote to me asking me to "fix" the link, I immediately thought of you! I know how much you have always LOVED this moment with Paul, considering it one of Paul's most endearing moments. Hopefully the video will resurface...fingers crossed!

Hi Anita, Thanks for replying. I've just read this thread through for the first time - I'd only seen the You Tube clip before. What a wonderful and beautiful story. I was really moved by your story. Your children are delightful and it must have been a really magical night for them. Your prayers were certainly answered that night and Paul responded to the children in a such a warm and loving way. I was so sorry to hear about Joe's health problems, but so pleased to hear he's doing so well. It's a really inspirational story. I do hope the video surfaces again soon as I so want my wife to be able to see it. Yes the family are all well, thanks. Unfortunately we're not all going to see Paul in June, just me with some friends. As it's a festival with lots of other acts on during the day, I don't think the children will be up to standing for the whole day, especially if there's bands they don't know. Hopefully if Paul plays an indoor arena near us one day, we'll take them to see him there. All the best to you and the family, Jeremy
-
Thanks so much, Jeremy...very kind of you! Completely understandable that your children would not be up to the task of a festival. Even for the most ardent fan, festivals can be exhausting! I hope you and your friends have a wonderful time! Hopefully you will be able to experience one of Paul's concerts with your family in the near future...It sounds as though your youngest is ready! Again, thank you for your kind words! All the best to you and your family!

GET READY...Paul's going to be here in 57 DAYS!!!! I CAN'T WAIT to see what the kids will wear!
-
(((((Mary)))))...You are as bad as the triplets!!! It's sooooo exciting!!! We are going to have sooooo much fun!!!
-
Ok (((Anita))) When you have time, would you please post some more of the triplets and your experience from 2005? Since I spoke to you the other night, I realized others would be just as facinated as I was. I thought that the first time Paul SAW the triplets was right before he brought them up on stage!!! There was much more going on...please do tell...
-
Anita, I'd like to second lindafan's request. Would love to know about the triplets experience meeting Paul! I never get tired of that! Such a wonderful moment. And one that shows Paul as the good guy we all love! Not too many days left till you get to see him!!

Very thoughtful...thank you! As I wrote to Mary (lindafan) above, I'll go back through the thread, see what is missing, and fill in the blanks. That's perfect, Fletch...Paul truly is a good guy, isn't he?! His soul is overflowing with generosity of spirit! I was so overwhelmed with joy that night in 2005. I relive the joy that I experienced that night every time I see the beautiful moments that Paul shares with his very lucky fans. What a giving heart he has...BEAUTIFUL!!! Less than two weeks...Woo Hoo!!!
-
Well Anita, I am keeping my fingers crossed that if Paul browses this site and reads this post that he will invite the triplets onstage with him yet again! Cannot wait to see what constumes they've come up with! I know ya'll will all have fun!! Nothing better than back to back nights of Paul concerts!

(((Mary)))...you and your details!!! Wow! You really surprised me with those two links! I don't believe that I've ever seen that particular bootleg cover...very cool! I don't believe that I have ever seen that concert report either...great to see it! Thank you so much for posting these...very much appreciated! I still haven't gone back through this thread to fill in the blanks, but I will. In answer to your questions above... "Where in the DVD Brian sees the triplets and goes over to Paul"... After the performance of Good Day Sunshine, Paul introduced Brian Ray to the audience. At that time, Brain said something to this effect..."Philadelphia, it's good to be here in the City of Brotherly Love. How are you brothers and sisters? It feels good, you know we can really feel, we can feel all that love coming up at us from you. It feels great! Thank you so much! We see some incredible stuff from up here, like right down here in like the fifth or sixth row...there's these little kids, these triplets, that are wearing little Sgt. Pepper suits, and they're so cute! You guys don't get to see that, but we get our own show, so thanks a lot for the show, back, back to Paul." While Brain was talking they put a light on the children. This made me laugh, as just before they performed Good Day Sunshine, my husband took Joe to use the rest room. My son wasn't there while Brian was talking about them. ops: Every school-day morning, the triplets start off their morning by playing Good Day Sunshine. I was thinking how upset Joe was going to be that he had missed the performance of this song. Little did I know he was about to miss much more than the song performance! My husband and Joe returned just in time for the beginning of the next song, Band on the Run. As they entered our aisle, my husband asked what was going on, as on the way back from the rest room, people were giving Joe a high-five, patting his back and head, and making comments such as, "Way to go, little man!" Something that really surprised me while Brian was talking...when they put the light on the children, a very tall man seated behind us grabbed Audrey, and lifted her up in the air! As Brain was finishing his words, Paul still in the dark (light on Brian), looked over at the children, with his left arm air-punching, and smiling at the children. As soon as the lights were turned up, Paul immediately pointed at the triplets, smiled and nodded, etc. Once the instrumental part of Band on the Run began, Brain made his way over to Paul. They began to chat, during the chat, Paul pointed over to the triplets once again. After looking over several times, once he could get a break from his mic, Paul made his way over to our area. I remember this moment so vividly, as everyone around us started yelling at the triplets, "Get ready, here he comes...here he comes, he's here, he's here!" At that time, Paul kicked his left foot outward twice with the beat, and motioned to the children. Needless to say, everyone in our area lost their minds!!! I would have to go and look at The Space Within Us DVD, but if my memory serves me, I don't believe that Band on the Run made it onto that DVD. Even if it had, chances are it may not have been the Philly 22nd performance. So sadly, you will not be able to see this moment on that DVD. "Where does Paul put his three fingers up at the triplets"... Just after Paul left the stage on the 23rd, he looked at the triplets, took his fingers and made circles around his eyes, then pointed his left hand, waving three fingers at them, then giving them the thumbs up. I thought he was making some sort of binoculars sign, but the folks around us said that he was indicating their glasses, and that he sees them. ops: I then realized that it was time for me to brush up on my sign language! "At what point were the triplets sitting in front or near the piano?"... Immediately after the performance of Helter Skelter, people were yelling to me that a man at the end of the aisle wanted my attention. As I moved toward him, he asked if I was the mother of the triplets. Once I indicated that I was indeed their mother, he asked me to gather them, and come with him...QUICKLY! The triplets were then taken into the security/photo pit in front of the stage. A man set up three folding chairs for the triplets, which they promptly stood upon. They stood directly under Paul, just slightly to his right. They remained there for Paul's performance of Please Please Me and Let It Be. It was really neat to see the three of them standing there on those chairs, all alone, swaying and waving their glow sticks to Let It Be. After Paul finished his performance of Let It Be, the triplets were taken up to the stage, where they waited to be taken to Paul. How is that for details??? (((Mary))), thanks so much for your interest...you are very sweet! Ten more days!!!
