Hi all, / The big question is, will the tickets be available through Paul's official site because it will make it a whole lot easier than navigating the Japanese websites. There's no information at all yet about it from what I can find.
Yes can any of the mods lets us know or make enquires on our behalf please?

Leonard Cohen in Sydney on his final tour is proving to be a more reliable option. Got ten more years to see Paul... if not, no regrets...

Yep, if he hasn't announced anything for by Oz within a week I'm going to start making the arrangements to head to Japan. I'm in Melbourne too. Tickets are on sale via PIA on September 14 @ 10am Japan time. See my post earlier on how to get tickets, I posted a link to an article on how to sign up. Mind, if you actually register (I'd give you a medal if you do!), they don't post internationally, although if you know someone living in Japan you could use their address on registration and get the tickets posted to them. See my post about a lack of travel packs on the net, would there be any Aussies interested in becoming part of a group? I'm happy to help with the organising. Bulk might get our prices down for accom and stuff.

I'm a fan from Malaysia and I'm planning to fly to Tokyo for this. Currently waiting for a 3rd party ticketing agent (Japanese) to finalize my purchase, hopefully will get reply within a few hours. I've used them before in my previous trip in Tokyo a few month ago. Can't believe I'm returning again. This is MY-MUST-GO concert of lifetime. Will share updates on this.

OH NO! Last pre-sale ticket from PIA is SOLD OUT! NOOOOOO!!!!! Japanese ticketing system is very easy for locals (most are made on vending machine in convenience store) but for foreigners, one need to either learn use their Japanese site or opt for friends/agent/whoever to buy for them. There's still HOPE....there's this weird lottery system ticketing that will be effective on the 29th this month...but I have no IDEA how and what kind of seating that I will end up having.... ...back to work!

After so many searches, inquiries and attempts, I've finally 'got a ticket to ride' via the local fan club in Japan, before the Tokyo shows sold out..it costs me a bomb (will starve till end of the year), as I've to pay with the membership fee, but at least my place is secured in the concert, hopefully. Japanese ticketing system is a bit different, be it concert tickets, museum...you name it! But in general, for them, its always 'EARLY BIRD CATCHES THE WORM'. Methods in getting the tickets (in best order) 1. Pre-sale Who: PIA, JCB credit card, Cedyna credit card Status: Sold Out *Site is in Japanese and some credit card system only accept their local credit card. 2. Fan club pre-sale Who: The Beatles fan club (Japanese) Status: Sold Out for Tokyo show, Fukuoka still available for now *Site is in Japanese and only accept existing membership application 4. Lottery Who: E Plus Status: Open tomorrow. Application on 29th Aug - 4th Sept *Site is in Japanese and can be obtain via local friend or shopping agent in Japan. I highly recommend http://www.bridge.jpn.com/. They have helped me with purchasing LOTS of attraction/event tickets. 5. General sale Who: PIA, Lawson, 7-Eleven (via online application or/and vending machine) Status: Coming soon * Open in Sept 14 (if I'm not mistaken). Site will mostly likely be in Japanese. My recommendation is go to via friends or local agent - they need to go via website/e-machine in convenience store to purchase. VIP or floor seat might be offered here, but like most big acts in Japan, the system might experience crash/slow connection during this time.

wow, just read that whole post about how to get tickets in Japan! Sounds very complicated if you are not IN Japan or cannot read Japanese. And nothing so far from Paul's site about any ticket sales link? I wish the best of luck to everyone who wants to go to these concerts for getting your tickets!!!

Please note that whales are dying by the score on Japan's beaches due to the tonnes of radioactive material poisoning the ocean due to the ongoing explosion of the nuclear power plant at Fukushima. http://nationalreport.net/breaking-fukushima-disaster-leaves-hundreds-whales-beached/
