I've seen no mention of this anywhere here yet, has anyone else heard about it? http://www.davidlynchfoundation.org/concert.html It says Paul McCartney and other great musicians will perform a global benefit concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Saturday, April 4, 2009, in support of the David Lynch Foundation

I'd wait for an official announcement either here or on Paul's main website (www.paulmccartney.com)

So rumor has it Paul will do a benifit concert in NY April 4th and the TM crowd get first dibs on tickets. David lynch is the producer or promoter. It this for sure and does anyone have any more information.

another interesting surprise (if true) sounds like rather a naive dreamer's hope: to change the world by teaching one million children tm. i have a soft spot for dreamers though, they're my favorite people. ...recall reading "paul and jane left rishikesh before the others (except for ringo, first to leave)...they (paul and Jane) "were too sophisticated for all that mumbo jumbo." If that's true, then it's even more a surprise if Macca pops up in this concert. although I have read that he 'sought out Maharishi's guidance on occasion, through the years" (if that's true) recently in an interview, paul mentioned the concept of karma. he believes in it. that was his implication.

He`s said he still meditates and he talked about visiting the Maharishi with Stella in the late 90`s/early 00`s.

I think teaching kids to meditate is great and important. We learn the wrong message (at least I did) to work hard get ahead. However we don't teach balances. Kids should learn a stress release. Learn quite time to reflect. Get centered. I just went back to meditating. I think this is a healthy way to live. Now if we can just get kids school programs to take the junk food out and replace it with organic foods and like her or hate her I was impressed when Heather Mills donated vegan foods to the schools in the Bronx's. Why not teach kids to eat healthy and stay fit young so they they live healthy. Kids are like sponges. Get them young enough and hope there parents get on board. Total body and mind. Its a good thing!

Well, just in case, I signed up to have ticket information sent to my address - I bet this is probably a costly event

yea i signed up too for ticket info. Hopefully this is all legit and they just aren't saying he is playing to sell tickets and then tell everyone he couldn't make it last minute when all along he wasn't going to be there anyways. Just a thought haha.

If he sang it would be a song or two so would it be worth the trip?
