David Lynch Foundation Concert

What are the chances of me getting tickets for this event? Where are they lads rehearsing? Does anyone know?
-
is there no seating charts to see what the lay out will be. This will answer a lot of questions if you can see the seating. If anyone has one please post so we can see ahead of time what it looks like. I sat in Ok seat for Celine and they had a big screan which helps to see the artist facial expression. However sound was just as good. I've had close seats and been by a row and had body blocking my views. So if your not front and center what it matter.

I've checked the Radio City Music Hall site. There's no suggestion that the venue has anything other than one seating layout. As as far as a plan is concerned there's a very detailed PDF to download and view here, it takes a while as it's a very high resolution, it helpfully identifies seats with obstructed views: http://www.radiocity.com/media/global/radio_seating.pdf The consensus of opinion here, and supported by a few helpful PM's is that Radio City Music Hall allocates seats to all events. The venue web-site offers a comprehensive FAQ which may help other questions: http://www.radiocity.com/faq/index.html Martin

I am so bummed.... When I read the information for the premium pkg, I thought it said to mail in the form.... So I clicked to reserve a spot and Fedexed it right in....but they are telling me that it is sold out....even when the website was still showing limited ability in the morning when my Fedex arrived. Did anyone go for the low priced Premium package and get it? I'm now kicking myself that I didn't fax it in. I was thinking that I might get charged twice, but wasn't thinking that I could just cancel one ops: There is a waiting list....so I'm hopefully waiting.... It is such a good cause so I think it is well worth the price. I expect they will do really well.... wow can you imagine all those lucky people who can afford to do those big premium packages with backstage passes and lots of other good things.... LUCKY PEOPLE!!!

there were a couple of "for further information" phone numbers about "premium packages " on the click through page to the printed form you had to send/fax in.I wonder did anyone call these numbers 212 2456570 this is the number for the David Lynch Benefit Office ask for Debbie Fife or Emily Kline...Don`t know if they will be open on the weekend but its worth a try. Im did not because I decided just to try to get a ticket Sunday since Im seeing Paul In Las Vegas for sure.As for Ringo If seen him a few times and he was pretty good but I have always been a Lennon McCartney guy and John wont be there (except in spirit). As for screens remember that Lynch is visual/cinematic to say the least so he may have some kind of screens.Maybe even some flickering lighting lol I wonder since you sent your name in step one if they are holding these for payment.I did say something about you thingy being received so maybe they are holding so many seats for payment.I doubt it but you might try calling these numbers.I must say the planning on this is a missing a bit. There is a real lack of information.ALSO does anyone know for sure if you have to call Ticketmaster or can you get pr esale tickets on line.I have been told its hard to get through on the phone to them
-

I called ticketmaster last night. The woman I spoke with told me the pre-sale is from 11:00 to 11:59 and will be on-line and via phone.
-
Mark...are you sure about "on line". The ticketmaster web-site doesn't show anything about a pre-sale, and the e-mail indicated "call in".

Thats what the supervisor I got transferred to said. I can't read the back of my CC for the 3 digit auth code, but ticketmaster.com allready has it saved under my account so I hope she knew what she was talking about.

Ok so lets review! General Admission Tickets for the concert, priced at $79.50, $99.50, $129.50, $229.50, $329.50 and $504.50, will go on sale Monday, March 9 at 11:00 am EST at TicketMaster. Because you registered for the concert on the David Lynch Foundation website, we are pleased to offer you a one day pre-sale opportunity. On Sunday, March 8, with code DO NOT FORGET THIS SUNDAY WE LEAP FORWARD THE CLOCKS. If that makes any differents for sunday buying. I will assume there going to send the code out spread over the day to avoid a crash in the phones. They also didn't say if they will allow for everyone with a code to buy a ticket. So they might really only have a few tickets for code people which could be low. my email clearly says call in nothing about online. Does someone have other information than that?

it says online and tellyfone on the website... perhaps I need my glasses ajusted?

I called them and they confirmed phone or online. There is quite a few obstructed seats which they will be random so not sure how to protect yourself from getting a obstructed view. You can purchase up to 6 tickets. I was warned this is going to be big. I guess if its meant to be it will.
-
lol OK, anyone want me to get them a ticket? what do you mean there are obstructed views?
-
The seats with obstructed views are marked as such on this seating plan: http://www.radiocity.com/media/global/radio_seating.pdf I would guess that the cheapest seats would include those seats. Martin
-
Thanx Martin~
-
My previous experience with theatres that have such seats is that at the time of offer the seat numbers carry the label "obstructed view" so you should know what you are buying. Out of the whole venue only a very small percentage are obstructed. Martin

On the TM website for this event, there isn't even an indication of a pre-sale. The phone and online access must be for the general sale on Monday morning. I believe the pre-sale is phone in only....as the e-mail notes.
