this is all mad...... Ticketmaster stated they gave out the codes according to when you signed up.... he said people had bought tickets weeks ago?
I think that was the package tickets and people who are members of the DL Foundation. I remember reading somewhere that people that belong to and support the foundation had first crack at tickets weeks ago. Then the packages were next. I would think that the package people would get pretty fantastic seats. Or at least I hope they do after paying that much. There are only 6200 seats.
sounds reasonable Barbs...there should have been some kinda "note" Tickets are given to Foundation members-first..than pre-sale than etc etc...

Check Steve Marinucci's beatles examiner page, update IV on the DLF ticket sales...the DLF reponds to the way the sale was conducted. Not all the tickets are sold out; 25% of the house will be on sale tomorrow. I would post a direct link, but I'm not sure if it is OK by the rules of the board. Google Beatles examiner and you will find it.

Chicago Tom:
The Macca Report is reporting that Paul and Ringo will be performing together!!!!
Is Paul`s son Joseph joining them?
-
Paul's son is James. There's no way of knowing.

25% of 6200 seats is 1550 seats available tomorrow.

I agree with the person who posted a comment on Steve's page, with lag times in emails hitting various servers around the globe, an email could be immediate, or there could be a lag time. and it should have been sent earlier. And call me cynical, but it seems like the scalpers are always one step ahead; I guess the Lynch Foundation doesn't think that they sign up for passwords or that they don't have someone on the inside telling them in advance what the password was. How else could it land, in advance, on those password sites?
-
you couldn't print had to be mailed So I assume that the ability to print your own tickets via e-mail attachments is disabled at the moment?

Martin (I think) posted earlier about that; look a couple of pages back, he mentioned a March 19 verification date, and other shows having done this in the past. I just looked at the Radio City Music Hall website; on their FAQ page it says capacity is 6,000 but changes by show (i.e. if the orchestra pit is being used and those seats are not available). So it looks like only 1500 seats are up for grabs Monday if DLF is saying 25 percent of the seats are left and will be available.

Do you guys think those tickets will go really fast or not?

Yes, it will probably take minutes.

Err that sucks

There was not a TicketFast option to print this morning... It really boils down to luck, and if you can get through the TicketMaster online queue - at least, I knew there wasn't going to be any chance of me turning down seats to try for better ones! I'm just grateful to have gotten two of them.

Has anyone heard if there's a pres -sale by being a member here? I have not gotten an email for pre-sale from this site!
-
We have to believe the David Lynch Foundation, in good faith had the best of intentions on the Pre-sale passcode deal. Most likely they had no way of knowing all the tickets would sell out or that people had not received their pre-sale passwords until, it was to late, for some of us. I say let's blame the net! Yeah! who knows what happened? how many emails were sent out, or how many servers went down-jammed? Too Many-people calling in. Let's just blame it all on Ticketmaster! kidding-
-
We went to DC and had tickets for the Obama swearing in.A lot of people had tickets better than ours.It was total chaos and a lot of people with tickets like those with the emails promising an early shot did not get in.And they had tickets! We only got in because someone broke the gates down.I don`t think this would work at Radio City.Ticketing should be left to professionals. But I don`t know of any.Ticketmaster is known for fiasco after fiasco.

No there was no pre-sale arranged for members of this site. Remenber this is a multi-artist event promoted by the David Lynch Foundation and not a solo commercial promotion by Paul. Paul's web-site suggests that future tour tickets sales may have some kind of priority given to people registered for the Newsletter on this page: http://www.paulmccartney.com/newsletter.php But please note that Newletter is not exclusive to members here. It is not a requirement to be registered on this message board to receive that newsletter. Being registered as a member here and not registered for the newletter would not bring any benefit at all. So if you are not registered for that Newsletter, why not do so now..... Martin

That's a useful find - should provide some comfort to those considering obstructed view seats. Looking at the area in the Orchestra identified as obstructed views on the seating plan I've offered earlier I can only guess that the only potential obstruction would be the chairs of, and activities of the companions of, people using wheelchairs in the designated spot immediately in front of those seats. There are certainly no pillars to block sightlines. The only other areas marked as such are immediately behind the sound desks on the mezzanine levels. Of course, if the event brings everybody to their feet, as it is most likely to, it'll be the people using wheelchairs that are disadvantaged not the other way round. Thanks Martin
