i have just seen a little part of paul and Ringo show on news in italian television. My reaction is......... Ringo is completely out of tune! It's ok paul sings his beatles songs in his concerts, It's ok Ringo do the same. But, please, not togheter and not with Ringo lead vocal... Beatles didn't reunite When john and george were alive. Why paul and Ringo singing togheter in the same concert togheter and with Ringo lead vocal? It's a way to destroy the mith? I love macca music with all my heart, he is my idol but i think this is a terrible error and Maybe a lack of respect for john and george. Please paul and Ringo don't do it again. Leave the beatles as an image of perfection. This is my humble opinion and feelings i felt.

I wouldn't complain.... They were having fun, the audience was having fun and they are sure NOT destroying the myth at all! I wish I could have been there too. I've seen some of the videos on youtube and I absolutely love their energetic performance! Besides it was a special occasion to see Paul and Ringo perform together for a great cause....you can find more info on the David Lynch Foundation websbite...

With A Little help From My Friends - yeah, Ringo sang lead on the original, so I don`t see what the problem is here. And he is always out of tune! Ringo and Paul have been on the stage together many times over the years, it was not the first time.

That's very true; Paul and Ringo have a fairly lengthy post Beatles resume' together - Furthermore, aside from the fact that it's always an event when Paul takes the stage, this doesn't exceed the normal 'big event' aura that Paul would typicaly bring with him to the stage...Ringo or not. I would not leave the hall thinking I just saw a Beatles reunion.

Well, i live in Italy and the only reason why on tv news they talked about this concert is that ex beatles paul and Ringo played togheter beatles songs. I think this is happening in all media of the world. Ringo and Paul had many collaborations but i don't think they sang togheter in a concert many beatles song and if it happened it was an event and i hope it was of more quality than the 15 seconds of with a little help from my friends i heard this time. i'm sure paul did his usual perfect performance with other beatles songs and for this There was no need to make this strange and false reunion of the beatles.

Exactly. Paul and Ringo on the same stage is not a Beatles reunion, it`s just Paul and Ringo on the same stage.

So gag, it's forbidden for Ringo and Paul to appear together, that's a little crazy. anyway. Ringo's set, was good, the usual, banter was funny. Nice tribute to George. Paul was great, the crowd was on there feet. He gave a tribute to John. He sang Here Today more emotional than I had ever seen before. He was in great form, Let it be - spine tingling for me as usual. The finale was great fun. fantastic evening.

It couldn't hope to deliver a full Beatles reunion, but the living half of that legendary band did come together at Radio City Saturday night for an eccentric cause. Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr headlined a show to boost a charity formed by film director David Lynch, whose profits go toward teaching society's "at-risk" kids to curb their violent urges by meditating.
