This doesn't look hugely different than last year except that he's dropped the tunes from Postcards from Paradise.
-
I may be the only member bummed that he didn't keep at least one track from his 2015 album. He had WINGS in his set even up to the beginning of last year from a 2012 album. And as always, I wished he just play his only other Beatle composition, 'Octopus' Garden.' Glad to see 'I'm the Greatest' and 'You're Sixteen' back together again in the set at the same time. My only other song wishes; Back Off Boogaloo & Don't Go Where the Road Don't Go.

No, you're not! I like when he puts in his newer songs. I"m not seeing him this summer; he's not playing close to me and travel to a show doesn't work out with my schedule. Sad because I try to catch at least one show per tour. Even tho they do the same material, the shows are fun and this band is particularly tight after having been together for so long.

Thank you for that reaffirmation. Comparing them from the 2012 to 2014 shows I saw; they've become more jammy and tighter. May be the best lineup since the 97/98/99 lineup. I always loved Jack Bruce and wish i saw them rock Detroit in '97. At least I got to see them with Todd in place of Peter in 1999.

I saw Ringo once July 2010 in Cleveland Ohio in the Flats. I had the third row. I held up a sign of George on it and Ringo pointed at it and nodded his head in approval LOL. This is a different set list than the one in 2010.
-
Man, why doesnt he play 'Walk With You'?? IMO, one of the best songs he's even written, & would bring the house down with tears.
-
I know Joey. Same band since what, 2010/11...the same songs. Paul and Ringo both touring each year...and each too comfortable to care about giving us anything or broadly different. Great that they're still doing it. Frustrating beyond belief they don't care to extend themselves or assume that audiences won't appreciate them digging deep into their catalogues to rotate songs. If Paul played Eat at Home or Getting Closer and Ringo busted out Snookeroo or Fastest Growing Heartache In The West...I guarantee nobody will walk out and moreover I'll be back on a plane in seconds flat! Even 2 song slots per concert saved for rotations would be fantastic and in this internet age, where all of us know what's played before they play it, a genuine surprise!

Different band than he had in 2010.

I've seen every All-Starr Band at least once, so I did get to see Jack Bruce; he was terrific. Sorry that you missed him.

The Jack Bruce lineup in 1997 was the only one I saw!

I did see the All-Starr's with Jack Bruce in 1999 and 2000. I just wish i saw the '97-'98 lineup with Bruce and Peter Frampton together.

Yeah, they were great. Who was the other guy that year? Hard to believe it's been almost 20 years!

It was Todd Rundgren in '99 and Eric Carmen and Dave Edmunds in 2000. It was very cool to see Todd play Clapton's SG while playing those Cream songs in the set.

But was it Todd in '97? That's when I went. I think there was someone else. Yeah, the guy from Pink Floyd. Who was that?

Nobody from Pink Floyd has ever been in the All-Starrs. Are you thinking of Gary Brooker from Procol Harum? He was on keyboards and was in the same band with Peter Frampton and Jack Bruce, which is the band that MetalGod posted that he missed out on seeing. Todd has come and gone into the All-Starrs several times over the years.

Yes, sorry, Procol Harum and Gary Brooker! That was it! Saw them in 1997! Will never forget that night because I got rear-ended in my brand new Honda CR_V on the way to the show! Fortunately not any damage to speak of! The other car was smaller and got the front squished. Was going to just let her go, but the cops showed up and wrote her a ticket and gave me a damn summons to court!

Saw him in DC last night. First time I had seen him since the original All Star band. Obviously, the "stars" in the band aren't as impressive as the first group, but they sounded good, and it was fun. But they pretty much have to squeeze everything they can out of their hits just to make it to two hours. So I have no idea why Ringo won't play Octopus' Garden. Makes no sense to me at all. Anyone know why he won't play it?

The ridiculous reason that Ringo has given in the past is because he doesn't think the audience wants to hear two "water" songs (Yellow Sub/Octopus) He has played it with The Roundheads a few times

What stupid reasoning!
