laying in my bed, I close my eyes and I start to breath slowly and calmly trying to relax each and every inch of my body. There's a voyage to be made back to the past and I know I got my own time machine to do it. As long as I free my mind from all useless thoughts a kind of numbless takes care of my body and suddently I feel myself like diving into a powerful vortex that is leading me back to another time, another place... Losing my conscience, I feel myself like flying in the void... falling to a never ending dive into the misty deep of past. Unexpectedly, as sudden as it starts, a strong bump shakes me inside telling me that I'm finally arrived. Although I keep my material eyes closed, I know the eyes of spirit will let see all this amazing scenario that surrounds me. What strange place is this though it seems so familiar to me? Where am I and why have my body suddently changed into another as long as I realize that I'm no longer a man. There's a long hair, blacker than night, softly caressing this swarthy face that belongs to this woman I am now. Who am I anyway and what am I doing here in the middle of this ocean of burning sands under a sky painted of the most beautiful blue I had ever seen? There's some strange red rocks up ahead in the distance and from near there's a sound of running water coming as music to my ears... MK

I close my eyes and I see nothing but stars and blackness. It feels like this it seems like forever. Then my eyes finally open, and I am so grateful I got a second chance.

... turn off the sound... forget everything around you, let yourself go... tell me : what do you see and/or hear : watch your own "movie" like you can watch tv... now open your eyes and reply
Well, I closed my eyes. I looks like my mind conjured up a very low-budget film. Actually, I imagined a still picture. The artist wasn't trying to achieve a level of realism, but rather, a stylized work, with some sort of sense of expression and simplicity. The piece was pretty basic, depicting a thin guy wearing Ringo-like glasses, laying in hammock. The hammock was hoisted up in a white, bare room of a tall city building, its floor plainly covered in tiles. A flower plot was next to him, with a tall, green plant sprouting out of it. The guy was lazily looking out a small circular window, at a city's tall buildings and star-ridden sky. I quickly and sloppily slapped together this thing on MS Paint, so you'll get an idea of the perspective. I could give you a thousand-word essay on what I saw, and each one of you will all see it differently.

when my eyes are closed, it hurts less... my hopes are here, my faith in better days too... when my eyes are closed, i feel i am able to be intelligent, to be interesting, independant, beautiful... i feel i can do anything... i feel things will be better soon with a little of patience... and that my loved ones will never leave me. in order to close my eyes, i do a lot of things... i read, write, listen to music, exercise, talk with people, i play with my dog, watch TV, go outside, etc... or i just sleep... a lot. but as i sit back and open my eyes, i remember... and it hurts... and i cry for hours and i want to disappear... and i feel alone.. so alone that nobody gets it.. i feel i have no future.. that wherever i go... nobody needs me.. and that i am nothing and bring nothing good. then i try to close my eyes again, but i feel numb after the pain for a while before i can.. close them.

The last time I closed my eyes, I saw Martin Scorsese teaching English language arts class.

I close my eyes and climb the water drops that stand still on the glass and for the moment-- life seems good - as I bounce water bead to water bead - and then reality hits as a water drop gets too heavy to hold on to the glass -- and it is one drop with blazing speed slipping down the glass and colliding with the comfortable drops --and it gains more - then another drop challenges it to a race -- and it is on!! I am somewhere in the middle -- too far from the top and too far to slide to the bottom -- frozen for a split second in fear -- I had the view of the world to see and the fear of losing it all in this thought - they miss me this time --I must make a decision to keep climbing or to go -- I don't want to give up on the dream -- but must for now - quickly I jump and glide down a towel slide - to the throw rug on the floor -- to a full sized fool again -- wondering - what was I thinking?!?

Insight and closed eyes pinstriped and gold rise wind pipes and scrolled skies close ties and strolling eyes saddened cries that rise and southern skies lonely nights and fools that chime windswept mind with my eyes closed (wide open).

i close my eyes.... and try to sleep.... but that is when they come back.

I close my eyes and see your dreams and the voice whispers, "so many of these will come true for the person dreaming the dream - but not in the instant that it is wanted - for the dream seed must grow and the time is not their own -- there must be a need for the dream to be true " ..... the voice trailed off as I heard these words that seemed so garbled -- this is as close to it as I think -- " if you dream of cake -- it will not be made -- until another dreamer dreams of eating a cake -- and another dreams of someone making a cake and another person eating it -- there must be a dream reason for the connection ...." I donno if that is the correct quote -- it is the way I heard it -- and there I stand on the rocky surface of a hill -- I see trees and wildflowers with the warm sun smiling on me - birds flying above and the sound of the stream in the distance -- quietly I hear my thoughts speak louder than a whisper -- as I wait ....... wanting the beautiful nature to take place -- for someone other than me to dream me dancing on the hills and someone dreaming the someone dreaming me dancing on the hills -- perhaps they are dreaming of me being on the rocky surface of a hill -- or I am in some other dream -- and must be on my way .... as POOf -- I open my eyes and become the fool once again......
-
i close my eyes and i see (((The_Fool)))..running endlessly up an down the hill ...it's a beautiful day...the sun is shining...the birds are singing..and i wonder who this person is..so i decide to go and join him..only to be awakened.. btw (((The_FooL))) i love the way you write ...i love your imagination.

If I dream of this new pie -- it will not be made -- until another dreamer dreams of listening to this new pie -- and a carpenter can help bake this new pie thru his mixer for all to enjoy.
