Beginnings and endings
-
For in six days a memory shall live, Immortality recalled, John Lennon's birthday, Celebrated again. (no rhyme...too lazy. Gonna have to go out to dinner in a few minutes--won't be able to reply...-sniffles- I wish I had internet from my phone...)
-
Again and again that time goes by Yet nothing happens in the town of Hyrule Until the ghost ship kidnaps princess Zelda Link jumps into action and tries to save her, but fails... FREE VERSE!
-
Fails to hate But exceeds to love Learns to care but forgets to ignore
-
Ignore the pain, Flowing within, Ignore the stain, Showing without. (kinda rhymed...)
-
Without any love He is a cold-hearted man Until she entered.
-
Entered into the world, The bright and free, Left alone, family and friends, Died today, here tomorrow. Around her kneck his fingers curled, In that dark and dank alley, Her arms, to breaking point he bends, Her family, soaked in sorrow. Entered into the world, The bright and free, Left alone, family and friends, Died today, here tomorrow.
-
Tomorrow Never Knows where we will be, hopefully for me, it is by the sea.
-
Tomorrow never knows what might come Treat each day as if it were your last That day might come to be quite a bum Always make it a blast.
-
Blast to the past, To an easier time, When words were easier to ryhme, And saddness dissapated fast. Sea is where I shall be, Just for a minimal fee, You may join me, Down there by the sea. (can you do that? Begin and end on the same song?)
-
Sea, green sea You call to me, You wash away my cares and worries, So here I sit...there is no hurry I'm so enchanted by your magic The ebb and flow,The wax and wane, The waves crash over and over again It draws me in, I feel no pain, Night or day it does not matter, I sit here, with you once more, I sit upon your sandy shore, Birth of life The Blue Planet
-
Planets that collide They all burst into flames But they're asteroids.
-
(@love2travel: That was beautiful. You outwrite me in poetry anyday) Asteroids traipesing through space, Aimlessly wandering, Painfully colliding with Our planet, oh so blue. On Earth, the people scatter, The surface, never before flatter, A scene of natural disaster, The feet rush the ground as a patter. The space turned silent, Mourning them, The ones that died, The ones that hurt. Asteroids traipesing through space, Aimlessly wandering, Painfully colliding with Our planet, oh so blue. (Metaphor: people who have no goals or aim in life hurt themselves and those around them and effect others, negatively and positively. Now, where the positive in this poem is, I don't know. But it's there. Honest.)
-
Blue seas and green Earth Replaced by factory farms Make this madness stop?
-
Stop bringing out your methaphors, dear Crossover Genius, For finding them by ourselves Has much more magic radius. These verses have so much inside That you don't need to say the more Than they do when meaning hide, Don't let them became common bore.
-
Bore me to death they do, Making brain stew, Droning on and on, Never see the sun. (a/n on and sun don't rhyme) (@kiriwana: well, we all know *your* opinion now, don't we? -rolls eyes- sorry. I'm used to playing with idiots. I have to explain the metaphor, or they call the poem stupid and meaningless. Hard to get out of that habit.)
-
Sun that rises over the horizon Sets on the British empire Gives America the rays of hope Until the war of the world sets Why not give peace a chance?
-
Chance to live Came and left As it seems. What one gives Is one big theft From his dreams. *** Lonesome, speak up And hold the breath, Hold tight. I'm grub. And the two stars I found Frown. Ideas of rose colour Lie in thick mug Catching the tint of vomit, Useless as rug. Another two stars shine, But what to do? Sadness is rocking, rocking cradle... (sorry - bad day
)
-
Cradle perched upon a tree limb, Idiotic parenting, duh. Of course it fell, When the wind blew. Cradle and doll, Came crashing down. World perched upon a three legged stool, Idiotic governing, duh. Of course it fell, When one leg collapsed, World and inhabitants, Came crashing down. (-evil laugh- just kidding. Blame my social studies teacher...)
-
Down with this suffering that I feel This seemingly endless chasm called life Is slowly tearing me apart Why, why, why? Why must we drag ourselves through Just to see the next day fail? Things aren't what they used to be Things used to be better Cut off this suffering line Finger on the trigger To pull it would be my desire But I must carry on... ...Sorry, really sad today...
-
(@Ninja: aww! I'm sorry you're down. Watch this. Maybe it'll help...
) On and on and on We must travel, On and on and on, He pounds on the gavel. No sense to this, He declares, No sense to this, He descends the stairs. Right and left, We must think, Right and left, The boat will sink. On and on and on, We must travel, on and on and on, He pounds on the gavel. (eh. Not as good as the duck song...)
