Beginnings and endings
-
Rained on my parade A supposedly sunny day Could have been spent outdoors Is now spent lying on the floor.
-
Lying on the floor Staring at the door Afraid what may lie Beyond the other side Fear and hesitation Frustration or elation Or is it the creation Of divinity awakened To walk thru the door Leave the known, forevermore Trusting intuition Making that decision In silence I stand up and reach for that door Leaving my sorrows and fears on the floor With a small tug, a last look back, the door opens wide Forward I walk, with love faith and courage, Excitement flows, joy grows, a smile I can't hide, Crystal energy flowing? Mirrors my soul Dancing in the light of the Universe Hi Ninja... was listening to the Moody Blues... House of Four Doors... An oldie but goodie !!!
-
love2travel: Wow...that was just...wow... Words can't even describe it... Universal here, everlasting now Standing here under the stars Seeing the sea of constellations flow Lying in the meadow from afar.
-
From afar I see this world People running around in fear I am feeling like an alien One who doesn?t belong here Do I want to be a part of this Game full of blacks and whites We?re either good or bad And it leads to many fights When will we stop this fighting Even though we still may fear So we can recognize our enemy For what he is: one loved so dear When will we stop creating hell And remember from where we came Memory Almost Full, they said I Nod My Head: this is my aim
-
Hi Wilhaminia.... wow... your poem sounds like you are a bit frustrated... wishing you a peaceful day... Hugs!!! I Nod My Head: this is my aim To stop the fighting, there is no blame Black or White it's all the same Top or Bottom,it's just a name The answer lies from deep within Thank God it isn't sink or swim Just find your place within the current Swim at times and float the rest For life is really not a test Look around you, you are blessed Throw down pretenses, they do not matter Give up defenses, illusions shattered As we grow older, things start to change No longer wrapped up inside the game Relax with ease, the way to go It really seems to help the flow Reach for the beauty all around us Enchanting us, it casts it's spell acknowledge hell and bid farewell For what you wait, time will tell Live inside the sound of laughter Look for delight within each day Soon enough the answer will be Let it be, let it be
-
Let it be, the time is right The tide is high, the sun is low Waves are coming in at night Gonna play it real slow.
-
Thanks for the concern and hugs love2travel I can feel very frustrated at times, but when I wrote the poem I was looking at things 'from afar' and I felt very much at peace with myself. And I was having lots of fun about the MAF reference But that is the nice thing about poems and lyrics: we can all interpret them the way we want and project our own feelings and emotions in them. I am sure Paul never intended his lyrics the way I interpret them Real slow I go Forward step by step..... So small Have patience dear It isn?t bad at all You will be there Where you want to go..... In time Just take a step You?re doing fine
-
Sorry for misreading you Wilhamina...glad everything is alright! Yeah, the MAF references made me laugh You are certainly right about interpreting poems You're doing fine Now where's that glass of wine? Time to celebrate! Plan the next trip I'll make! Stepping into the flow My face is all aglow I do love to travel
-

I don't have a wonderful poem right now, very sorry. But I had to chime in with sending my thanks and appreciation for Martin, who has never let me down on the board and is so very, very, very, helpful and kind! A breath of fresh air for us all!

All are joyed, Fear destroyed, Returned to the scene, Something serene...
-
Serene and full of beauty Would be the day, Shining with ten bright colours And peaceful way For saying loving words, But meanwhile it still hurts...
-
love2travel, that wasn't my drawing, I found it somewhere on the internet and I liked it ops: It still hurts Deep down inside There are no words No place to hide So much fear To let Love in Don?t come near The pain will win This is your fear But you are wrong Have faith my dear You are so strong This is my vow When Love is felt Tears will flow And pain will melt You will be free Free as a bird No need to flee Just say the word
-
Wilhamina?. I LOVE this poem soooooo much!!! One of your best I would say?. the uTube of the Word is just perfect!!! Just say the word It needs to be heard Two hearts will embrace Bitter tears are replaced The treasure of Love To cosset and cherish So truly beloved Without it we perish Feelings so tender A new shoot of a flower To nourish and nuture The garden of splendor The yearning embrace Just like Cupid and Psyche The cherished passion Bewitching in fashion Love is the answer No matter the question The sprite of the Universe An inimitable dancer My inspiration was this beautiful white marble statue of Cupid and Psyche by Antonio Canova in the Louvre... it is the most beautiful sculpture I have ever seen.... I've seen David , Venus (which is also at the Louvre) Apollo and Daphne, the Thinker and several of the Pieta's..... and this to me, is far far more beautiful http://i433.photobucket.com/albums/qq52/Happy_Traveller/Favorite%20Photos/P6060435.jpg

Thanks love2travel What a beautiful picture! Great inspiration for your poem I am feeling a bit corny now An inimitable dancer Attended some gig At the Audio Brighton And it went over big The singer sang I Love You Dad And dad replied I love you too lad It must have been Such a delight To watch the son And dad that night
-
Thanks Wilhamina.... hope to get back to the Louvre to visit my much loved objets d'art this summer... those lucky lucky people who got to see Paul at James gig and what a lovely song James sings about his Dad.... Night falls once again It's velvet blanket wrapped softly round my shoulders In the beams of the moonlight The world looks different One big shadow, obscure The stars shine above through the trees The awe of the ancients still seen in my eyes Restless whispers heard in the breezes The white horse saunters up from beyond the veil Blowing out his breath Like horses are want to do The black raven, he lands on the table No fear in his eyes He walks up to me as if to speak, a secret language The night is full of the magic from afar Just like some dream, Yet I am fully awake, a traveler in time

Time surges through the universe, Singing songs, verse by verse, Piercing the dark lit silence, Stopping the unreasonable silence.
-
Hi CG!!! Good to see you here! Stopping the unreasonable silence Softly a ticking of the clock Down the hall a muffled TV Radiators bang and they knock Drifting off to the land of sweet dreams
