Because the 5K race is tomorrow, I should rest up.

because we just got the surprising, yet not so surprising news that "Old LeadFoot" was clocked going 100 mph in a 70 mph zone Worst of all, the cops had a roadblock set up & fined him the full fine & when he returns home from his road trip, will end up losing his license at the ripe old age of 76 :

Because... I lost my voice I shall drink a big cup o' milk and hunt down a bag of Ludens Cough Drops. Hopefully I'll be able to speak in time for school tomorrow!

Because 1) my son is trying to start a new trend in school. He has a RESPECT, PEACE & ALL RIGHT sign he makes. Take your thumb, pointer and middle finger out, with the ring and pinky tucked in. Make a salute with your hand in that position and say, "WUZ UP?" It's catching on in Southern Indiana. 2) My son just left to go back to the dorms. I miss him already. He had me laughing showing me his made up new dances. a) Starting the mower dance b) riding a motorcycle dance. 3) My writer''s block is almost over. I'm starting to feel creative again. Maybe I can finish my Chapter 19 of the Little Bea book now. YOUR LOVE Your love is like a wilted flower; soon is dead and crushed. It never passed the testing hour; Amounts to nothing much. True love is fed by special power; A light that never wanes. It has no bitterness, nor does it sour; But bears both time and pain. Neither jealousy, nor selfish means, Would ever turn it green. For such a rotten, putrid being, Is hate born by a fiend. Why do you lie, with honeyed lips, Fueled by a deceptive kiss? Then hurt me with your songs and quips, Like snakes that bite and hiss.

because I got home so late from the concert.... I am tired
-
Because we just got home for the mall I am sad that I didn't invite Paul. Saw an Aston Martin like Paul's...I got all excited... Then I denounced Neiman Marcus for the mink coats. Selling those to impressionable children! Er...because it was bad...(nearly forgot we must stay on the "because" topic" Because...I have a lot of homework to be doing for tomorrow, I shall continue to posty. -posty posty- Because having something to do makes me relish not doing it even more.

Because, I'm in the mood to write some spoofs. See if you can guess the original Beatles' songs: Pretend Pretend there?s no beginning; Neither is there an end. And all the world is rounded; Magnetic lines that bend. And everywhere the people, Different from you and me. Cultures that clash and vary, They never seem to meet. Don?t you know-- Reality is easy. But just for you and me. We?could have lived a good life; If we kept it real. Why do people always pretend, Real life is too surreal? Pretend that we have freedom; To make, or not, mistakes. That we evolved, and learned some, And life was give and take. And everytime you fell down, You?d pick yourself up, and? When somebody needed you, You?d offer helping hands. Don?t you know-- Reality is easy. But just for you and me. We?could have lived a good life; If we kept it real. Why do people always pretend, Real life is too surreal? Pretend that there were troubles; That sometimes started wars. They brought people together, To strive for peace, and more. It takes trials, tribulations, To bring you to your knees. It forms future resistance, To turn away from peace. Don?t you know-- Reality is easy. But just for you and me. We?could have lived a good life; If we kept it real. Why do people always pretend, Real life is too surreal? I'll post the second one later....

Beautiful, MsBeckie! I can't place it, though. It stands alone in it's own category, independent of needing a crutch of an already known tune, or rhyme. Only, as I read it, I got the vague sense of Imagine, but that isn't a Beatles song... Very, very good! Puts my poetry to shame, I'm afraid. I'm not much of a poet; but I do have fun writing it.

strawberry fields? because they weren't thinking of the ton trucks coming by for the street fair... we may not have water later on
-
Oh! I see it! Strawberry Fields, it very well could be! Because I have a headache and am bored, I will do my homework and play Rock Band. Because I recognize neither of those will help a headache, I shall bring that point up before any of you do.

Because I know someone who loves Paul, I should get her to make an account on here. Unless she already has one...*Pokes*
-
Because I know someone who is just like Paul, I should make her make an account here. And besides, she loves talking with nice and friendly (and some sophisticated) people. And I believe there is a fair number of Brits lying 'bout for her to talk to and obsess (sp? Brain dead moment...) over. Because I was kicked off the TV (playing Rock Band)... -posty posty-

because it sounds lovely to go next year
-
Because I've played at the State Fair every year, I really should be over the stage fright by now. Because...I have to breathe, I shall play some more music.
-
because I would like to meet Dave I will go pick up the remasters!

Because the phone I want is free on T-Mobile, I shall ask my parents if they'll renew our 1-year expired contract...and for unlimited texting.

My phone was BOGO. My brother was getting one, so I got one too. I've gots unlimited texting. My parents up-ed it once I started going over the 400 I originally had... Hey! I have T-Mobile too! All my friends have Verizon and much cooler phones. I'm stuck with an old Razr. -sigh-
-
CG: ...Seriously?! Mine too! It shuts off with the slightest bump on the bottom...and sometimes it turns off when I open it to answer a call. >_> I really want the Samsung Gravity 2, mainly because it looks cool and it's the only phone from T-Mobile that's under $100...and it's free too. Because my phone shuts off randomly, *Throws phone at the wall*

Crossover Genius:

Sorry. When I say Beatles, I mean anything any member wrote or sang, before or after the break-up. Your first guess was right. I was thinking of Imagine when I wrote that. But I change the music in my head from time to time, so it stands out alone, hopefully too. CrossOver Genius: 1 point ! Now guess the inspiration of this one: We?re So Sorry, Aunt Jemima We?re so sorry, Aunt Jemima; We?re running your land barren everyday. We?re so sorry, Aunt Jemima; We?ve been eating just too many cakes. All the trees we?re cutting down, Eating food, till we?re big and round. None of our excuses, just, nor sound, Reasoning from our mouths unfound. Hey?Hey? We?re so sorry, Aunt Jemima; There?s just too much sugar, that we take. Hey, hey. We?re so sorry, Aunt Jemima; We?ve used all the water from the lakes. (change of music) Going out to space, to see what we can see; Life?s getting too hard, and so we had to flee. Searching for a new land, Not too full of dry sand. Starting over life anew, Telling others ?We are through?with you!? (Spoken)(change of music) Instead of digging petroleum, It causes cancer; that?s not fun. Conservation soil lies, With the use of some cow pies. (Another voice asks): Cow Pies? (A lower voice answers): Yes, cow pies. It comes out from a cow, And it forms into a pie. Do you know about cow tea? Now, you just got learned! Hee hee! (change of music) Steeping in the barrel, now, Just like oil, it?s tea, and how. Conserve the land, that?s all it takes, And don?t eat too much sugar cakes. Hey?Hey? Leave the little dogs alone, Just play with them, and throw a bone. No one needs to eat red meat, It slows the colon down a beat. Hey?Hey? We?re so sorry, Aunt Jemima; We promise you we won?t do it again. We?re so sorry, Aunt Jemima; This irresponsibility will end. Hey?Hey?

Oooh...that's tough. the "hey-hey"s make me think Paul, unless you wrote them in... Yay! Me and my apparently existant but not often active sense of rhythm! ...Either that or you are just so amazingly good at spoofing songs, that anyone coulda gotten it. (and don't worry, I think of Imagine and etc. as Beatles songs. Others don't. Great minds think alike!) @AngryNinja: don't they have like, the least amount of memory space known to human-kind? If I have over 30 texts, it spazzes out. -throws phone 'cross room- Grr! I always wanted a Rivr, which is a Ravr but it slides, but they don't carry them anymore. Oh...er... Because...T-Mobile is no fun? -nervous laugh- Because...I wasn't staying on topic...
