USA VIP packages presale info - help?
-
Hi all! I am not 100% clear on how the presale for the VIP packages will work tomorrow. Of course, I know you must be a registered PM.com member -- is there anything else? Will a presale password be required, and if so, where might I find the password? Also, when its go-time, where do I head to? Will there be a special link through PM.com? Or should I go directly to ticketmaster? If anyone can provide any clarification, I would appreciate it. Thank you!!

Hi...and welcome! You will be able to purchase VIP packages tomorrow through Ticketmaster. If you go to the website (www.ticketmaster.com) and click on "onsale times" you can see the various ticket sale dates . Good luck!

Won't VIP tickets be available through Paul's website? Isn't that why we needed to be signed up?

Yes, they'll be available through PM.com as well.

oh ok, thanks.

VIP tickets tend to stay available a little longer given the steep price, even in the big cities. I would imagine they'll have some staying power in these cities, but who knows. Figure the best seats will start at about $700. Compared to other artists, the special souvenirs are not that special. But the experience is priceless!

How do the prices for the packages typically run? To be honest, I never really looked in the past because they were entirely out of my budget (and still are!).. but I'm toying with the idea this time around after countless shows watching the fun happening front while I'm in the back of the floor! lol

Hi...usually for U.S. shows there are a couple of VIP packages..."Hot Sound Package" and the "Front Row Package". Front row runs around $2000.00, while Hot Sound around $1500.00. Both packages include the sound check.

There are also some VIP tickets that are within rows 10 - 15 (I think, not sure exactly) that don't include soundcheck but do include a merch item. Those are the Gold and Silver tickets and they are about $600 for the Gold and less for the Silver. Sorry I don't have the prices exactly right.

How do I log in to the site to obtain tickets or logging in here to the message board will suffice? I go to the main site and it says sign up, not log in.

Fans registered with PaulMcCartney.com will be eligible to purchase pre-sale tickets from 10am (local time) / 3pm (UK time) on Wednesday 9th April. To be eligible for this pre-sale fans must be registered with the website by 6am (EDT) / 11am (BST) on Wednesday. You may want to go to Ticketmaster.com

So I missed it. Even receiving emails I still had to register. Not a problem.

Aren't prices listed anywhere yet?

Hi, If you received the pre-sale notification e-mail, you are registered at the main site. No, logging in here at the message board will not suffice. The message board and the main site are separate. Once the pre-sale opens at 10AM EDT local time, upon clicking on the pre-sale link, you will be asked to log in at the main site with your e-mail address which you have registered there. Once you have entered that e-mail address you will obtain access to the pre-sale. I am very happy to answer any other questions that you may have, but for the best possible answer to your pre-sale questions, please post them in this thread: http://maccaboard.paulmccartney.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=88560 There is a team on standby reading that thread who are solely dedicated to answering all pre-sale questions that you may have. I hope this information helps. Anita

Question for the veteran Presale people around here.. For the Hot Sound seats in arena venues, do they usually just run rows A-E? Does Gold Seat Package pick up in row F? Here's why I ask.. Hot Sound is not in the budget for my husband and I, as much as I'd love to do soundcheck. In Pittsburgh, right now we can get seats in Row J for Gold Package ($650 each). Today is just presale for VIP, so I'm wondering if Ticketmaster is holding F-G-H for the general sale. I'd hate to wait for those and potentially lose my chance in row J today if F-G-H- are actually Hot Sound which is out of my price range. Thanks for the info in advance!
