As another rarity disappears, the Cups - 13-year-old Piet, his sister Lyn und their friends Alfred und Suzann ? seem to see clear Only Aunt Martha`s new lover Bill Schiers und craftsman Carl Rodermann come in question as thieves team. Commissioner Klotz sees it differently. All to well the thefts fit into his concept He studied for a long time to find suitable ways removing the ugly bums from the South-Eifel town - and thus the nine-year-old Juni. Piet and his friends are convinced of the homeless girl`s innocence. But very disappointed they find that the girl has spun a web of lies. While the young people try to solve the puzzle by Bill, Carl and Juni, more mysterious things happen - and to make matters worse Martha is suspected of having murdered her testatrix!
