Hmmmm....sounds like an attempt to change the subject. Perhaps, because of a guilty conscience? My dear sir... ...where exactly were YOU on the day of April 5, 1994...hmmmmmmm??????

Um... at school? Seriously can't I just delete these comments and return to some insightful analysis of my masterful musical creations??

Insightful analysis? Well, let's see: Your songs are really, really...um...nice. Your words rhyme. And they, like, ya' know, say something about whatever the title of the songs are. (Is all this over your head?)

I agree, your songs are 'nice' illwobble I remember exactly where I was when I heard Kurt was found dead. Heard it on my car radio, driving to a friends house, totally beautiful sunny, 70ish degree day. I was really into Nirvana and Kurt was a real hero at the time. Very impactful moment for me. Since then my views on him have changed quite a bit, but I can still appreciate the music very much. Anyway, mods, if illwobble wants to have my last few Nirvana related posts in his thread deleted, it's perfectly fine by me

Why can't I just delete this garbage myself!! No it's funny, the whole Kurt Cobain thing passed me by entirely at the time. I was trying to remember what I was doing back then. This was after my short period of being very into pop music aged 10-12, which was brought to an abrupt end when my music magazine of choice featured an almost nude boy band (Take That, I think! Whatever happened to them?) on the cover, and I thought this is not for me. My teenage years were wilderness years in many ways. "That teenage kid I used to be" listened to a bit of Blur and one or two other bands I think, and then Louis Armstrong and various other stuff. But I didn't smell any teen spirit at all until I went off to Uni, and I was almost out of my teens by then.

Kurt used to like to jump into the drum kits what a nut. that had to have hurt.
you guys were really... neat. -
Is that "neat" a Truth Or Dare/Kevin Costner reference, kapoo?

WOW! Look at you audi, you seriously know your music industry pop culture! I'm impressed. I hadn't actually thought of that before, but given the timing of that Reading Festival (aug 1991) and Madonna's movie and Costner's comment (film was released late May 1991), I guarantee Kurt was mocking that! Great call on your part

That one needs some rap!

Ah what ever Jon, I forgave Josh a long time ago for saying audi's version was better than mine lol. Hey, water under a bridge, I don't think twice. It's cool we all had the opportunity to truly work on something so diligently together, an really flesh out a song. Like a real band would. For one song we were a real band. I do think you're song Big Fat Hairy Monster has great potential. My problem is devoting time.. I have so much work to do with Canary Robbery, my bro just cut like 5 more songs 2 nights ago and needs me on guitar and bass on all of them. I got some legitimate practicing to do!! Which I enjoy though. I will keep BFHM in mind though. I'll start listening to it in the car when I'm drivin places, a lot of times that's when I get ideas. It would be fun to collaborate on it with ya . If I demo it I'll send it to ya!

Of course! That would be great. Or if you like I could start coming up with some rap lyrics for you to work on or develop. Anyway a very happy Christmas to you and all your family.

hey buddy, saw you were online, I fell off the map on this project, sorry about that. I did have a sick ass meter for a rap that I just thought up, thinking of this song but sort of just developed.. but would basically make this a rap tune. but the intricacy of the meter quite frankly makes it really tough to put lyrics into. I could flow it no words (should send you a private demo of that, iPhone humming ), but shit it would take me like a day to work out words, its like a 1500 peice jigsaw puzzle... and to make it fit your song, its a test. cause it would have to be wordy as hell, unfortunately. I might have to resort to complete goof ball. spelling words, swearing, it could get ugly if not given proper care have you done anything more with it recently?

No have done nothing more to it at all really. I'd love to hear a demo of what you have in mind, or some lyrics if you have any. I think there's no constraint on the rap alternating with my chorus. If you made the metre too hard that's your problem!! But no, I'd love to see anything, and may then get a chance to do a very rough demo of something further. In my head this actually IS a rap tune, but alternating with the chorus more or less as it already exists. Maybe we could even both be singing on the track! That'd be NICE! Although if it's to sweary my family may disapprove! I once played her an old tape I dug out of me as a 12-13year old during my awkward "rap master" phase attempting to rap some nasty sweary lyrics. Horrible tape, and she was shocked! Take care!

yeah I just need to get a shot of inspiration on it. just start writing down monster words: here we go: black yellow eyes over the hills and far away feet stomping mouth chomping romp stomping nice shades cool braids ladies love him comes from nothing sinister prisoner sacked my minister cant tell if he flies but he's fly and can jump so high girls shrieking demos leaking biggie smalls rip if he calls trip close closet and sign in your window store he'll drow the light and run your thoughts but then on the flip side he's funny has a tummy slow and stubly couldn't even smoke and tell a joke but he might just be my friend in need no need to judge a monster scary hairy barely even real we feel what we want to feel or you can like a Tucan hairy slobbering.. made to listen to Canary Robbery. or falling from the tallest heights upon his hammer beyond the banter a chronic chanter bionic ranter lions and lambers ryhme Jon Stammers in there somewhere surely you can't be scared of the big fat hairy monster I need more words. that doesnt fit the meter at all but gives me a word pool. and possibly a couple rhymes. bits to start with anyway. Need to make it more of a story. Maybe I can break some of that down sometime. this should be interesting, this is an ongoing project with JS! I threw some dark matter lyrics at audi the other day, he never uses them. or never sees his own new song through. how many verses have I given you audi, for how many different songs? not that many actually. remember when I changed 'Autumn' do you still have those lyrics I did, I swear I don't but thats a cool song.

what was all that I was babbling about!? Hey everyone, I say lets all start rallying around illwobble to bring him back into writing the hits he's capable of! illwobble needs to come out of retirement! I know how it is though man, believe me kids.
